Damn that’s exactly what I told my buddy this morning after I sobered up. They installed a new offense in 10 days and ran out of plays.

I don't understand why Brooks is confused about how Freeze could install a new offense in 10 days. The answer is obvious, he didn't install it in 10 days. He installed it last spring, practiced it and refined it over time, and put in his back pocket to save for the Georgia game.
There are 3 teams that are absolutely desperate for a win over Georgia: Tennessee, Auburn, and GT. They want to recruit the state of Georgia, it's vital for their programs. Georgia has dominated them for the last 25 years; that began even before Kirby came along. Kirby has made it even worse; collectively, they've lost 26 in a row to the Georgia Bulldogs (tech avoided their beatdown in 2020 due to Covid). Those fan bases readily admit they'd trade a Georgia win for several other losses, every season. Coaches know what matters if they want to keep their job, and long losing streaks to a bitter rival matter. Those three are pulling out all the stops to beat Kirby.
Coaches routinely prepare during the offseason for specific opponents they particularly want to beat; that's nothing new. For Auburn, Tenn and GT (among others to a lesser extent), Georgia is currently #1 on the list. Kirby does it too. He prepared well in advance for Paul Johnson's offense at GT, and Malzahn's offense at Auburn. He prepares well in advance for Heupel's Tennessee's offense. They all know this too so they change it up, install special plays just for Georgia, well in advance. Auburn didn't draw up those plays week before last; they did it last January.
That's why some coaches lose their their composure during and after a game against Georgia; they're watching a large investment of time and game planning go down the drain as they lose their 9th in a row to Kirby Smart and the Dawgs. Or in some cases, they're ecstatic to get that precious win against Georgia. See Butch Jones falling to his knees on the Sanford Stadium grass in 2016. Or Gus Malzahn giving Kirby locker room fuel ("We kicked their arse") in 2017. Or Hugh Freeze getting distracted in the middle of a game (the refs are screwing us). He screwed himself by losing his cool.
One side effect of success is that Kirby has attracted a large following of envious peers and put a target on his back. I think he's done a very good job of dealing with it, especially when you consider that teams also now target UGA with their NIL money. That's what happens when you reach the top.

I felt like watching that first half that Freeze had this concerned look on his face on the sideline even while his team was whipping out tails up and down the field.
Based on what Brooks Austin broke down in this video, it sounds like he was walking around thinking “man, we better run this thing up and put it out of reach, because we’re screwed if we don’t”
Which I think contributed to why he flipped his lid on the fumble call and why he sounded so defeated in the halftime TV interview. He knew they had blown their shot to win it.

What I dont get is how do you run out of plays? Just keep running those same ones over and over until we do something about it.

yah, I keep wondering about the comments on Auburn running out of plays. You always hear that teams do not want to show al their plays vs a weak team. It doesn't make sense to me to give the builk of the credit to Auburn running out plays as the reason our D was so stout in the 2nd half. I think as much attritubed to our execution and secondly as one of the podcaster mentioned that a lot goes on Arnold. Arnold looked great in the first half but it was really suprising how bad he played in the 2nd.

Well, from what I've read, aubie ran the same basic plays over and over against the other teams they lost to and once they ran out of new plays - hence Kirby saying that first half they ran stuff they didn't prepare for - they reverted back to their tendencies. So, all that was new stuff in the first - because if we know one thing, Kirby and crew go over every single play.

Kiffin will probably hit us with some new plays too. He's done it before, even back in 2009 when he was at Tennessee. Their offense looked very different from the first five games and Martinez never could adapt.

They definitely ran a different offense if you watch the previous game their base offense look way different to start the Georgia game. Their base offense is arse and wasn't going to work which is why we stopped them in the second half. Yes we made adjustments in the second half but again it was back to their base offense. It was the stuff that Georgia practice for already.

How many times did they run the jet sweep in the second half? Saw it several on Austin's Pt 2 video.

Because they no longer worked and their adjustment was going back to their normal offense
