Why is he not playing more. He plays with his hair on fire and is a heavy hitter.
He is what our rushing defense needs.

Yes indeed!
Him and Bray would feast!

I’ll be honest I like when he comes in but I also can’t look past when Saab is on. Saab played out of his mind against Vandy. Dre is thumper though, no issues with his play.

We don’t rotate our safeties all that much is the answer.

Outside of Hubbard, I’d say Dre is the biggest thumper in the secondary.

Yes Hubbard is a thumper but as of late he’s gotten bad about not having discipline and getting caught with his pants down,

He might be our best defensive player right now.

He flashes with limited playtime. They'll find a way to get him on the field. No reason to worry about redshirts or fretting over playing guys too young that might mess up. You got to build depth and he's showing himself to be made of the right stuff.

Negative. That would be Jefferson. 10 is quietly becoming a great linebacker who makes open field tackles alone and has saved multiple plays. Hubbard is very good but he better learn eye discipline and quick. He gets way too caught up in all the movement.

Our base secondary should be Hubbard, Saab, Dijon, and Zabien.
The next player to come in after those 4 should be Dre Jr. in my opinion. , and then Domani Jackson, and then Dashawn Jones.

With respect, I think you meant to say #10 is becoming a serviceable ILB and not great. We don't have any great ILBers at this point.

Better looks up 10s stats. I said what I said.

It's like Deboer is bringing him in as the closer

I agree with this. When they start tackling and guys don't fall for 3 yards then they are elite.

He will start next year. He and Bray will destroy

Sabb has another year of eligibility. Not sure what his professional prospects are, I could see it going either way. Hubbard likewise is draft eligible, though.

So funny you brought this up. I was up at West Point this weekend, my nephew committed to Army. Coach Monken and I got to talking, he was the coach of the “shite through a tin horn” game. We had about a 25 minute conversation about ball. He got to talking about Dre Kirk senior. At the end of our conversation, I said do you want to feel old? He said “8 Already do, but go for it” I said Dre Kirk Jr plays for Bama now. We laughed and talked about it for a bit. One of the cooler moments of my life.

He is pretty good but yes, I wish we had a CJ Mosley and Donte Hightower, Shaun Dion Hamilton, Rueben Foster, Rashan Evans or a Reggie Ragland back there.
