Texas the better team yesterday for sure.
It’s clear Mateer wasn’t even close to 100% but Oklahoma thought he was the better option which speaks to their team not being deep enough. I think a healthy Mateer has his way but we didn’t see that.

There is a significant drop-off from a healthy Mateer to Hawkins. Yesterday? Hard to say. By the time it was clear that Mateer didn't belong out there, it was pretty much too late anyway.
When Texas took the momentum late in the second quarter and OU's defense looked gassed, it already wasn't looking good. You can't blame all of that on the hand.

Do you live for OU? Looks like it… you got your arse whipped also final score wasn’t how the game went. You still haven’t beat a ranked team yet! The team you just lost to we beat 24-3 last year .

I watched the game you was down 10 with 2 minutes left . Keep playing soft ooc teams and then when you face elite teams you will always fold unless it’s Ohio state with half its roster out .

I don’t agree. We were ahead at half but that INT right before was proof enough he wasn’t ready. He may have been physically but the distraction of going to doc and missing real practice showed.
Had we inserted Hawkins and just run wildcat with other 2 RBs plus Hawk we may have won. Hawkins is the faster and tougher runner, worse passer.
Coaches also had malpractice before half the way they handled it.
