Not sure we can blame him for the OK and GA losses. He shouldn't be fired.

Retirement is sounding to me like the way to go. It will be good for Hugh's health.

Hey Mrs. Freeze,

Don’t worry. You’ll get 8 million minimum after he’s fired.

One loss per week.

He is a one loss coach.

He goes 0-1 everyday

A former player by the same name of Wooten said the same thing.

Freeze did get screwed in the first half....

I feel like people owe Thorne an apology. He would have won last night.

Is it poor preparation with 10+ penalties per game and boneheaded mistakes on offense?

Is it lack of adjustments at halftime leading to comatose offensive play in the 2nd half for multiple weeks...seasons...in a row?

Is it lack of recruiting where some positions are still woefully inadequate in talent?

Is it lack of player development when multiple QBs looking the exact same with the same inability to see the field, with the same struggles to get rid of the ball, with the same inaccuracy when throwing down field?

Is it lack of game planning and strategy when entire offensive playbooks ignore the run game entirely or use the same three plays for multiple dead drives in a row or fail to get the ball to our best playmakers?

Is it an SEC conspiracy to fix games against Auburn because the coach was caught cheating and paying hookers to sleep with teenagers only for him to boast about his Christian renewal while requesting to be allowed back into one of the most privileged positions in all of sports?

You tell me at what point I shouldn't blame him.

100% but this is coming from the fanbase that ran off Bo Nix so I wouldn't hold my breath that we'll get that level of self reflection.

Freeze is not a one loss coach.

Freeze is a coach with two losing seasons in a row and - likely - a third incoming. He was hired specifically to reinvigorate a bad Auburn offense and he's made it worse with every season. His teams are consistently unprepared, can't adjust, have high numbers of penalties, special teams miscues and stupid mistakes at the worst times. He was a lazy hire by people who have no business hiring a football coach.

He absolutely can be blamed for both of those losses. We had a lead against UGA at the half and the defense was doing their job. His offense, as usual, had zero answer.

No he wouldn’t have. He blew 2 chances to beat thUGA too. Last night looked just like 2023-2024 failed Thorne experiment.

Every bad call changes the dynamic, strategy and the emotion of the game. I ask you to put yourself in the shoes of the Auburn players and coaching staff during the OK and GA games. I imagine it's hard to play your best game when you see what is either incompetence or corruption working against you at every turn. Those calling for Freeze to be fired are the ones always wanting to see the second string QB go in. I'm here to tell you - the grass is not always greener.

If the defense was doing their job, they would hold the leads given to them. Durkin once again went full prevent in the second half.

Well, since most of us have opinions let me share mine...

IMO the reason Auburn lost the game last night wasn't the referees, it was coaching.

Freeze let that one questionable call affect the psyche of his entire team and they weren't able to move past it. They let it affect them from that moment on through the rest of the game. A good coach can have his team mentally move past something lile that so they can finish out the mission at hand.

Personally I knew when that fumble occurred and the way Auburn finished out the first half that they were not winning that game ( although up to that point Auburn had totally dominated the game)

Also - it's obvious that Kirby Smart made adjustments at half time on the defensive side of the ball that Freeze couldn't counter.

All in all, Freeze is not a very good coach - and this statement really isn't breaking news to anyone

It can’t get any more brown. You could dump a load of manure on it and it wouldn’t get any more brown.

You have to be trolling. Are you seriously really saying you think Freeze is the guy and doesn’t deserve to be fired? Are you one of the weak Auburn fans that always says, no, if we fire him we might get another bad coach, oh no we’ll be Tennessee? Because even those folks are now seeing the light.

Interview at half, he was about to cry. He was. What a joke. He was too worried about getting in trouble to just let it fly. He said, something has to go right for us at some point. What an awful attitude. Well, we get some breaks some day. The team played the second half just like their coach looked, about to freakin cry.

Made me sick. Is that the leader we want for Auburn Football?

The guy is a scumbag POS and always has been. We knew from day 1.
