It doesn’t matter how good your offense is if you can’t protect the football

We might be the worst team I’ve ever seen when it comes to ball security. Whatever drills we work for protecting the football aren’t working. This is ridiculous

It's so frustrating. I've never seen a team this bad holding on to the damn football. It's already cost us two games and it feels like that might happen here again.

Fumbles in the red zone will be what I remember from this season. Never seen anything like this before.

Let Braylons arse ride the pine. Who’s the 3rd stringer?

As bad as the defense has been in spells, we'd be 5-1 with good ball security. It's insane.

Granted some of the fumbles have just been bad luck, but that's par for the course for Arkansas football.

Idk man. Nothing you can do about getting knocked unconscious for a second and dropping the ball. It sucks as an accumulation of our struggles holding onto the ball this year, but that one is just horrible luck.

Might be time to look at the RB coach.

Taylen's just as bad about it if not moreso than the RBs. That dude's ball security is awful.

Watch the replays on his scrambles. He is literally holding the ball in one hand not tucked in or anything. How has that not been addressed by the coaching staff

I remember, back during Bobby’s first stint, hanging on every play thinking this is about to be the big one.

Now, for the last several years now, I’m hanging on every play thinking this is where we’re going to frick it up.

I didn’t go check but someone mentioned, in the game thread that that was actually his first career fumble.

when Bobby spoke at last years high school coaching clinic he actually talked about Taylen being loose with the football, but said you take some risk when you have an athlete like that at qb. Don’t want to coach the play maker out of him. Whatever that means

Whenever they show practice theyre poking at our guys with stupid q tip looking things because we're soft

I suggest actual tackling, followed by lots of running for each fumble

To be fair that's pretty normal for a scramble. He should have got rid of the ball sooner, which holding the ball in one hand should allow him to do...

Side note, that package with Taylen, Russell and Washington in the gun running the triple option looked lethal. Overshadowed by the fumble on that play but that has potential
