Way down the depth chart. Is now injured. Might be in his best interests to take a redshirt year. I believe he's only played in four games.

I don't know how much it will help, though, as we return all the WRs save Bernard, and he's seemingly behind at least about six guys.

Supposedly has lower leg injury sustained from Vandy game, but he didn't do anything. I think he'll be okay going forward. to get better, he needs game reps.

Talk about getting bad advice or just feeding into your own ego. Him moving to WR was one of the worst and most confusing moves in the off-season. His potential at CB was endless and he had a path to way more playing time there than at WR. He may move back but he threw away a years worth of training just to go on a limb. God bless him though and I hope everything works out for him but I honestly don't ever see him playing WR here at Bama

He should've stayed at CB.

He came in fairly early against Vandy and didn't know where to line up. We took a timeout because of him.

Whatever NIL bag he got to stay needs to be re-evaluated after the season.

We also had a highly rated DB named Lawrence that could never learn the defense evidently. Wound up transferring around the middle of CNS's tenure.

Yep BJ Scott was an incredible athlete with no discernible position where he was SEC caliber.

I think he was either one of the last partial qualifiers to enroll here or a kid that qualified unexpectedly by the grace of God.

This is probably true. My question would be, How is he going to get them? He's behind AT LEAST six guys at this point, and it's probably a tossup between him and Meadows for the 7th guy. I agree that he should have stayed at corner. He actually played last year.

Over who? Jackson maybe if he fricks up in run D some more, but I think Lee would be first up for either him or Brown.

Alonzo Lawrence. I think it was a case of magically bumping his ACT score up by like 5 points on his final attempt. That happened a lot back in those days. Kids would reportedly have done no better than a 15 on 3 tries before miraculously scoring a 19 either soon after or immediately before committing to a big time program

Mbakwe DID play significant reps last year on defense, way more than he's gotten this year. While our starters are back, I think he probably would have been on the field more this year had he stayed at DB. Either as a reserve corner or a nickel option.

He had 221 snaps as a freshman.

I doubt he's at 25 so far this year.

Should have put on 10+ pounds and learned the Husky position.

Might make a really good LB if he puts on 20-25 lbs. Kind of like Lemanski Hall years ago.

He won’t play anymore this year, will take a redshirt year, and then transfer if I had to guess.

I think Memphis and some other academic cheating schemes on SAT/ACT put an end to that in the early 2010s.
