I still don’t get why Texas is favored over OU

it’s Texas -3.5 and even though Hawkins will play, Texas is bad and they just announced Wisner is out with a pulled hammy. So no Wisner, no Baxter, and likely no Muhammad(best DB).
How often is an unbanked team favored over a top 5 team? How on earth is Texas going to score with a horrible QB and no run game?
This might be the easiest bet in the last few years

Just go with it. Will make the inevitable fall even sweeter.

And that, folks, is how they built a high-rise oasis in the Nevada desert.

Vegas knows that Texas fans are idiots, Vegas will cash in!

Baxter is not returning for this game?

Baxter hasn’t played in a month and apparently has been no contact in practice. Even if he returned, I wouldn’t expect anything vs OUs front 7

Might have to do with OUs QB having hand surgery, and this rivalry game being a coin flip.

Another day, another thread about Oklahoma from "LSU fan" dallastiger55.

I put $500 on Oklahoma. It was painful but free money is free money. You don't get many sure things like this one.
The only way Texas wins this game is if the game is fixed....which it may be

A close horn victory will keep the turmoil churning in Austin for longer. Very appealing...

Yeah something's up. Vegas doesn't make a lot of mistakes and they clearly want everyone betting on Oklahoma. They must know something we don't.

Because the media cannot comprehend why they suck. Also, OU has a backup QB

I’ve seen some absolutely horrendous Texas teams go into Dallas and dominate. The floor of this team is much higher than some of those squads.

The same reason any line is the way it is, the bookies feel it will maximize profit for the casino. Nothing more.

Vegas wants half the money on both sides of the bets. It's just math.

Somehow they got A&M-State right, and no one saw that coming, including all reasonable Aggie fans.

It has to be a bet on Arch over the OU backup. We'll see if once again he shows the faith is unwarranted.

How many times has Texas faced OUs backup quarterback? It's crazy
