Honestly I can’t think of anyone that still has a job. Take away the cupcakes and defensive scores and he is averaging about 10 points a game and again one of the worse running teams in America.

The Iowa OC on any given year. It’s borderline impressive how they consistently find the most inept OC’s. lol

So that is your problem? A guy who is calling the plays? All that money you guys spent went to waste because of Joe Joe? Gotcha.

“Welcome to Auburn Coach X. His extensive experience as OC at Iowa had our attention early in the process, and we needed to move quickly to secure him as our new coach. We look forward to competing for championships moving forward with Coach X as our leader and face of the program.”

He's a great guy, but Mike Shula has to be somewhere on the list.

I have to take up for Shula a bit. With the NCAA scholarship restrictions he was coaching with one hand tied behind his back.

Logic says that those recruits and transfers that were highly sought after by a lot of other schools are probably pretty good players. I guess it's possible we missed on ALL of them, but I think the simplest answer is that the talent is there, but the coaching/development is subpar.

One of those coaches who seems to bring out the hate in the fan base immediately, is shown the door, and amazingly is hired somewhere else quite quickly.
