Obviously LR had a better recent resume, but much harder rebuild at USC.

If I needed a HC (which I don't) but if I did, I'd pick Riley and about 20 other HC's right now over Kelly.

Lincoln Riley is a little bitch that was scared of the SEC and high tailed it out to the West Coast

I think LR would have more success at LSU. Much easier to recruit and would have developed a QB. No defense but that's been Kelly's MO as well.

Kelly is 33-12 at LSU
Riley is 30-15 at USC
Not a drastic separation either way.

Neither. Riley has always struggled mightily against physical teams even while at OU. He lost to friggin’ Illinois last Saturday.

Can’t win NC without defense. For whatever reason, he continues to fail to see that he needs to have a balanced team.

How was Lincoln Riley scared out of the SEC if he was never in the SEC ?

Brian Kelly no question.

Riley is a program killer.

He didn't say he was scared out of it. He left before Ou joined the sec because he knew it would be hard to win.

The head coach at usc should be able to lock California down. And no, the talent on a per capita basis isn’t what it is in the south. But you can build a very solid team from Southern California.

LSU under Riley would’ve been all about offense. Defense would’ve been a necessary evil that had to be tolerated because it’s part of the game.
Not a good long term formula for the gauntlet of the SEC year in and year out.

How about picking Riley over Napier?

Depends on the state of the program at the time of the hire.
If a total overhaul is needed, Kelly. Lincoln Riley has never built a program. He just took over Stoops' program and maintained.
If a program just needs someone to get over the hump, I'd probably choose Riley.

I dont know one single SOONER fan who wishes TBOW was still here.
BTW TBOW left OU in a bind and it has taken few yrs to right the ship. He will always wear the name tag TBOW.
