TLDR:
AU's offensive line sucks. Murray hates "slide protection" and said he asked Cubelic who hates it too. Murray lays out how they used to do it. It is a good little course for those who don't know much about O-line technicalities.
He said Jackson needs to let it go sooner at times, but he feels O-line is a bigger problem. Not necessarily bad athletes, just bad communication and they look lost at times.

It's our OL coach that is either lost or he is severely covering for linemen that cant play.
OL getting the defenders that are the biggest threats to the ball carrier is HS level knowledge.

JA sucks. He is killing the OL. It’s so easy to blame the OL. Jackson is a fricking coward. Period. Count the mississippis. You folks thought Thorne was ok. Just a little secret for you, no one thought Thorne was worth a damn. Is it JjA’s fault he sucks? No. He hasn’t had decent coaching or a decent offense to play in.

JA isn't great at this point but he's far from a coward and I wouldn't even say he's bad.

Play design stinks too. at 12:00 mark. only 3 receivers sure, but they all run to one side of the field making it super easy to cover. way too congested.

McElboy is on the air saying Thorne was better throwing than Arnold. Sounds like he is ignoring the devastating INTs.

Thorne didnt throw that many interceptions. Thorne mostly was average and not deserving of so much teeth gnash

He does have an idea. He criticized Thorne last year and now the same with Arnold. Saying he holds the ball too long (as we know)
We need to fire the OL coach. Austin’s a waste of a QB coach, let him go too. Heck, give Murray the job and let’s see what he can do as the QB coach.
Other SEC teams can reload and regroup every year and not have major issues at QB.

Hell just mute him if you have to and look at the plays just for the camera angles.
When you can see a play from behind the offense you can see exactly what is going on with the skill players as well as the line.

Thorne wasn't the problem. We've had success with let capable QBs. Arnold is one of them, but he also isn't the problem.
There's no cheat code to winning in the SEC, but the people hiring football head coaches sure seem to think there is.
