I'd be careful for calling out posters for over-reacting when you are doing the same.
UGA's pass rushers are as weak as Bama's.
They have FIVE sacks on the year and have played Austin Peay, Marshall, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Marshall has given up 12 sacks in 5 games. One of the worst pass pro OLs.
Austin Peay.... enough said.
Tennessee has solid pass pro. Given up 4 sacks.
Alabama has solid pass pro. Given up 5 sacks.
I said in another thread..... Ty Simpson should have been SEC OL of the week. Dude was getting rid of the ball so quickly..... It made EVERYONE look good.

I don't have the eyes of a coach but the small sample we got of Sanders at LG, Formby at RG and Carroll at RT seemed like it was effective against Georgia. Still not completely sure of all the rotating 4 games into the season on the OL but hopefully the right combo is close to being established.

Very good game by him. Proved me wrong. Still don’t think he is great in the running game but he got the job done

I think he's a better run blocker and I think that's why we saw him at right guard as well.

That was one of the most hostile environments you will ever see. Josh Pate said it was so loud he couldnt hear the guy right next to him. Give the guys a boatload of credit for only 1 false start in over 70 plays. No holding calls either.

I just think Carrolls upside is much more than Formby and is better. Now Formby is 10x better than VandeMark so if we wanna slide Formby over to RG I would be ok with that

I’m so old that I remember when a certain linebacker named Derrick Thomas had two pass interference penalties back to back when he was a freshman. People were screaming to get him out of the game.

He got a bad reputation based off of a couple of plays against South Florida a year ago. 2 holding calls and one of them particularly was complete garbage. After that he was basically put in the doghouse by the low football IQ posters here

GVDM moves well, he just doesnt get any push. Coaches seem to trust him to block the right guy.

I’ll be honest I was talking to a former DL for Bama who lives locally. He said with the anger Formby plays with, her would be a fantastic DT. Same for Roberts.
