People blame the play calling, but it’s been more of a QB problem the past 3 years. But, Freeze is the one that keeps bringing in these QBs.

Far right, I swear nobody was covering Perry all game.

We’ve had these problems for years now (not mitigating the current issues).

Just shocking how long it be been since we’ve had a qb that can see the field and let it rip.

We have had a bad run of HC that refuse to take multiple QBs every year, and play the one that produces. The only person that like Thorne was Freeze. Freeze just doesn't have an eye for talent at the position.

There was no reason for Freeze not to bring in multiple QBs from the portal the past few years. (I don’t count the Stanford QB. He was never considered a factor).

I'm open to being proven wrong but did anyone bring in two portal qbs who were actually in demand with a chance to start? These guys, the good ones, cost a lot of money and they aren't transferring to fight for a job.

Holy shite that is damning. There's 1 defender i can't see in the picture but even if he's just off screen cutting off one of the outside routes there's still two guys he can hit easy.

Was Arnold in demand? Was Thorne in demand? The answer to both is no.

Please don't start this shite. For the love of god.

This is a fundamentally crap offense, period. I don't care that you can find a few screenshots of snaps where someone is open. The problem is this: when on 80% of the plays something is going catastrophically wrong and the offense is literally imploding, the remaining 20% of the plays where someone is actually open are meaningless because the QB is rattled, and there is no rhythm of success or expectation that the play will work. This is a clown-show offense at this point.

No, this is not a Jackson Arnold excuse. He is not good, but if you can't tell by now that we are well past the point of this being a QB problem (where you just plug someone else in and we are scoring 40 points a game) then I don't know what to tell you.

First it was Philip Montgomery's fault, then it was Peyton Thorne, now its Jackson Arnold. No, this is a Hugh Freeze problem. Need I also remind you that when Walker White played, he looked like dogshit, and so did Deuce Knight earlier this season.

Our scheme sucks, our playcalling sucks, we are very predictable, we don't have ANY adjustments, and it is very very clear that we don't prepare and game plan well either. Texas A&M literally just looked at last week's Oklahoma film and did the exact same thing they did, and we had zero answer for it. We arehorrendously coached on offense.

Yea I really don’t understand how that argument is still being made by them. The realities of the NIL game seems to just not be existent to them. There aren’t resources to just bring in multiple $1M-$2M + QB’s. You get your shot with one and have to tie your cart to them. This idea that you can just bring in multiple is beyond the pale.

Freeze has to own the fact he was just flat wrong on both his picks. I understood the argument around Thorne, but it didn’t work out. In today’s game though, you can bring in one big transfer and a freshman. That’s all you’re getting. You’re not getting two big transfers to compete for a job. It’s not happening and acting like it is what we should have done is ridiculous.

They make running offense look soooo fricking hard. It’s not that fricking hard. Pathetic.

Hell of a post. Excellently balancing anger and frustration with level headed truth bombs. I regret that i have but one upvote to give

He doesn't run the ball enough bar none but im not convinced that is the actual percentage breakdown. Jackson has a problem pulling the trigger straight up. That is a real problem he has. And guys dont have to be THAT open to still be open. That pic is just an extreme example.

Freeze isnt smart enough to out scheme anyone. I dont think we have a system. We just call random plays.
