Doesn’t bode well for the rest of the season.

The Grind will have our hands full this weekend but we won't stop here. Texas is especially going to get it in late October.

Not a lot to gather from stats at this point in the season. Three weeks from now, when the schedules have somewhat equalized, you'll be able to know a whole lot more.

We need each team to have played at least two SEC teams before these really mean anything from a high offensive PPG standpoint.

this is my point. there really isn't much sample size 4 games (some teams just 3) into the season, and data points skewed by 1-3 cupcakes.

at this point conference W/L is most important followed by non-conference W/L

however, as an LSU fan, you have to be concerned by the offense output through 4 games, especially after Clemson and UF wins are not as big as they appeared to be going into the season, but they are wins nonetheless

Saturday should tell us a lot about both LSU and OM, with the winner chasing the SECCG and the loser on the outside looking in .....

So we have heard. Kelly said that he is considering shutting things down now before the not boding well comes to fruition. Enjoy the rest of the season.

How about a defensive PPG standpoint?

I feel like that’s a little more accurate because it’s difficult to run up the score, so to speak, on an opposing offense, but more data is needed.

I can tell you right now, though, that A&M has one of the least reliable defenses in the league, and we are going to seriously struggle to beat teams like Texas and LSU.

hence the disclaimer i included in my post you linked:

It’s gojng to be really hard for any sec teams to lead country in total offense anymore due to them having to play so many elite defenses . The extra game vs power 5 and extra sec game. Same for leading in total defense or ppg defense .
