Hes perfect for that school.
A world class motivator, and a solid as frick recruiter.
Makes three star players play like 4 stars, and you are guaranteed to be physical. O tasted the pinnacle of CFB and went off the rails, its true.
BUT, he has likely learned from that. Pull the trigger. I bet anything Petrino is too washed to run that program.

Florida could do the funniest thing and hire Petrino before Arkansas fires Pittman.

Logic might say that Petrino gets another shot at HC at WooPigU, but he might get hired away just when Arky needs to be looking for a new coach.
Bobby has that offense looking pretty good - HE'S not the one fumbling the ball away at the last (and worst possible) minute in the game.
I wouldn't want to see Petrino at Florida - not with all the in-state talent they have. But it would be a good hire for them for when SBB gets sent packing.

No it is not..trust me. I got stuck in the rain a ton. Florida rains, an insane amount..out of nowhere too. You go to dinner, very clear. Storming when you are done and you have to uber.

Ed is too busy with cocktails and poon and doesn't really need the money or the headache.

Ed definitely needs the money. He will be back in coaching very soon.
He just had to write an 8m check to his ex wife.

Shrimp Boat Captain gonna have to find a new job soon after losing half his payout to his ex and all the cash he’s wasted on the bimbos.

You're not really that far off. Might actually be a decent fit. That said... the next coach at Arkansas is - first and foremost - going to have to be able to get the Old Guard money folks in the state to step up with NIL support. I'm not sure what they think of O.
The name that seems to make the most sense right now is Rhett Lashlee. Springdale kid. Played at the U of A. Has had decent success at SMU. Young and hungry and not as big a risk to jump at another job if he sees success here. Seems pretty polished and should be able to work the whole state to get donors to pay for the program.
