Can we talk about Klein?

1. We have a second year starter at QB who clearly is being developed in a positive way and has a chance to be a third year starter next year.

2. He went out and got fast and extremely gifted receivers from the portal to compliment our strong running back.

3. He is delivering what Jimbo promised year after year which is mixing in and using physical tight ends, this keeps you running backs from getting huge hits, put on them in short, passing yardage situations. And gives you a second passing threat when the wide receivers hit the afterburners but are still covered well.

I am pleased. It’s early in the season. Things are still shaking out and nothing is perfect yet. But like this glass of bourbon and ice that is slowly melting that I am sipping on, our offense keeps getting better as the pieces come together.

Agreed. Was hoping that the struggles from last year were growing pains and lack of horses. Have been very pleased with play calling so far. We'll see how it shakes out in SEC play.

Lmao. You guys wanted him fired after he botched the play calling against Texas last year.

What does being disappointed with a game last year have to do with being pleased with the direction we’re going this year?

It’s very fair-weather. I’m on record as supporting Klein the whole time, but to go from howling for his dismissal to gushing over his accomplishments after three games against less than stellar opposition seems flaky. Might as well preface it with a “I think I was wrong about Klein.”

Beating ND on the road isn’t Sam Houston State

And if Reed hits 2 of those missed deep balls it is a blowout

There’s nothing wrong with criticizing the end of last year and being happy with the beginning of this year

Reread my post, I give him credit for going out and getting two top-notch receivers with speed that happened in the off-season

I heard Klein mentioned as a possible hire by Oklahoma State. No idea if he is even interested, but the fact that he's mentioned by the sports writers means he's doing some good things.

Why is blindly supporting an employee of the university, no matter their results, superior to criticizing them when they do poorly and praising them when they do well?

There’s a difference between blindly supporting and supporting (like I did). There’s also a difference between criticizing and calling for someone to be fired after one game.

Fwiw we've scored 2 TDs in 21 possessions since Football Frenzy's victory lap on Klein
