Losing their QB in the second quarter hurt them. He was the heart of their team and him going down early in the game put a damper on the team emotionally. It was obvious.
Losing a player is one thing, losing your start QB is different.

Vandy has a great QB and coach. Sellers, while good, is vastly overrated and was knocked out of the game. They wouldn’t have won anyway.

Yep. Hats off to Vandy though. As someone in our team board said, that program has an identity now. They were bound to beat us eventually as streaks always have to end, but they did it in style and they did it in a year we really needed that W.
