Just saw Oklahoma -4.5.

I bet that moves to at least -6.5, Oklahoma offense has been looking really good, and our defense does not look like a good quality SEC defense.

Matters passing chart against the only legit D they’ve played (Mich).

No passes to the left side of the field

He loves the middle of the field

Just go in there and win. That’s all that matters. If somehow we can steal 2 of the next 3 we should be in a good spot.

Let’s get the first one.

I think this is Auburn’s toughest game of the year.

Because of Mateer and because it’s on the road.

But I LOVE that everyone is predicting us to get blown out.

Keep saying that all week - please!

I want our OL and our DL to have something to prove.

Wasn’t Michigan running a 4-2-5 scheme?

We need Demarcus Riddick and Kaleb Harris to awaken from the inexplicable slumber and bring the wood to Norman OK. Those two have disappeared so far and we need them to play full tilt to have a shot.

Paraphrasing From the Venables presser , as shown on today’s SEC Now :

Q: facing Jackson Arnold
V: I think he is the same guy, now he’s got a complete team around him.

Q: How do you feel about the depth at Center behind Jake?
V: Feel okay, but Not many teams have 2-3 Centers

Q: Jackson Arnold familiar with your D, how do you assemble a plan to stop him?
V: The challenge is really to stop the Auburn offense. They’re really well balanced, very efficient. They’ve done a good job of staying on schedule.

Q: How do you prepare for WR duo Coleman and Singleton?
V: Singleton is an explosive playmaker that can score every time he touches the football. Coleman is elite receiver, great catch radius, super instinctive, has the size to go up and get the football. They both present a major challenge.

Q: In the past you’ve indicated the need for you Defense to improve at tackling … what is the status?
V: we got getter when our guys got better at fundamentals, tracking angles, … their understanding of the defense (man/zone)

Q: Auburn running attack vs OU run defense ?
A: Auburn is very elaborate, lots of layers to it. Very strong up front , particularly at left tackle. They elite runners, including quarterback. We’re going to have to play well

Q: Can you talk about Auburns OL?
A: several new faces, they’re really good there. They’re better at OL, Receiver, quarterback. They’ve got a 50% conversion rate on 3rd down, 100% on 4th down. They’re playing with confidence and getting better.

Q: progress of David Stone?
A: Big, steady improvement and has been doing really well, working hard, very hungry.
