Concerning this new 9 game schedule and also keeping Clemson.

With Beamer at the helm SC will be a 8-9 win team. Sprinkle in an occasional 7 and 10 win season for average sake .

Matter of fact, imo winning 9 games at SC with that schedule is solid, winning 10 would be phenomenal.

We will beat the Alabama, Georgia and Texas..just not in the same year..

I dont think that is a bad expectation.

being a perennial 8-9 win team, that gets 10 or 11 some years can lead you to becoming a perennial 10-11 win team that gets 12-13 sometimes. It's definitely a shift in narrative from being a 6 win team in a 12 game schedule.

There hasn’t been a time in our history when this wouldn’t be an exceptional run/standard for us.

I take everything back...we are a 6-7 win team, with an occasional 8 sprinkled in.. And every ten years or so if the ball bounces perfectly, we can win nine..

I took the bait again...but im still a fan 4 life..

This is me. But I also don't have to be emotionally, or particularly financially, invested.

I went to the Aflac game, and I'm glad I did. I sure as Christmas ain't spending good money to see us get boatraced at home by Alabama or Oklahoma.

Fan for life as well. Grew up a fan and Carolina was the only school I applied to; graduated in 2010. Even if I did somehow end up at another university, I would have always been a Carolina fan too.

Vandy hurt. Having the high hopes we did, thinking eventually it would click because we had "so much talent" on offense...that one hurt

Mizzou was just kind of irritating. It was amusing how bad we were playing, but still holding a lead....then the 4th was just a collapse and any little chance of pulling that out just disappeared. That said I wasnt hurt after Mizzou like I was after Vandy

Our athletic department as a whole will be arse until we get rid of every single Ray Tanner hire.

I must have been crazy the night I posted this thread.

SC is 647-618 overall....they are what the record reflects

They surprise us with a big win or mini streak occasionally but they are arse most of the time.

But they are my guys. I just wish we could show some consistency over time.

You want Chastain gone? She is crushing it as the softball coach? Paris is doing fine as well. Track and field has kept par with where they always have been

It's not long ago that we were below .500. It's been a much better run these past 25 years than the overall numbers show. Still not great, but better.

You know you have a mediocrity program when you have to celebrate climbing over .500

oh 100%, when the LSU fan asked if you thought SC was a top program I chuckled.

165-147 since 2000....so yeah still awful

I know I’ve said it already in this thread but I will continue to say it until it comes to be. Our Athletic Department won’t be a worth a damn until we clear out every single Ray Tanner hire. Personally, I’m not going to have one iota of emotional investment in any one of our programs until ALL of his hires are gone. We can’t be taken seriously all of his mistakes are gone.

Yep. I haven't watched one football game this season, and I'm feeling great!

Oh I still watch, I’m just not going to let it seriously affect my mood at all. Like it’s done and gone quicker than a hot fart in the wind. Multiview has been great in helping me get through this year so far

Hell just make a bowl game on a yearly basis bare minimum and I’d be happy at this point.

After having to deal with the inconsistency post-Spurrier era.

Looking like a stretch this year. Coastal might be our last win.

You may be waiting a while. Chastain will be here a long while, and she is a damn good coach. Had us fighting for a top 8 seed last year, and just bagged the #1 recruit.
