Napier is what he is at this point. Year 4, NFL guys all over the field, and just had his worst loss yet.

Who do we want to replace him?

Candidates
-Lane Kiffin
-Marcus Freeman
-Curt Cignetti
-Lincoln Riley
-Alex Golesh
-Brent Key
-James Franklin

I don't think there is a concensus hot name yet. Some will say Golesh. Some
Will say Lea.

Is Fisch still on the radar? I guess it depends on how Year 2 goes at Washington.

Call Nick Saban and make him say no.

If he says no call Dan Lanning, and do the same thing.

Please point them out to me
NFL guys jump off the screen vs teams like we've played the past 2 weeks. I didnt see much jump

My Gator Brothers in Christ, we had ZERO sacks vs the mighty Long Island team we played last week.

Read that again very slowly.

Vs a team like that, scheme doesnt fkn matter, If you have a DUDE in the trenches, he will show out vs that level of comp.

Zero sacks. Shouldve had at least 4 plus if we have NFL guys there

Jedd Fisch of our Gators family
Rhett Lashlee
Some other offensive minded young 40's guy like Spurrier and Meyer were when we hired them

Would be an interesting hire but I don't see him leaving SMU NIL money and resources for our cheap arse program.

No to Fisch. Something about him.

Golesh maybe but we need to stop hiring these up and comer types for once since it just hasn't worked for nearly 2 decades.

Golesh had too much gay body language on tv yesterday, limp wrist and all, so no go for me, haha.

Fair, I didn't really watch the game so I didn't notice all that.

I am not really into another up and comer hire after the last 15 years of complete failure hiring those types.

I'm Kiffin or bust at this point.

Not many sure things out there to take a chance on imo

Need someone who is a proven winner at the P4 level this time. Mullen was the winningest coach since Meyer and happened to be the only one with P4 experience.

I was Kiffin or bust in 2021.

I'd be happy if we hired Kiffin, sure.

But honestly it feels like we're so deep in a hole now that I don't know if even a Kiffin hire could restore my former enthusiasm for Florida football.

If we are who we purport ourselves to be, namely one of those "count on one hand" type of programs, we'll go out there and find a way to make it happen.

Meaning....

You make Nick Saban DEFINITIVELY say no.
You Make Dan Lanning DEFINITIVELY say no.
And yes, you make Urban DEFINITIVELY say no.

Kiffin, Golesh, and maybe Fisch, are good options, but I think those are guys you can get to say yes without pulling teeth to an extreme degree. Make the titans say no multiple times. If we are truly the best of the best? Pull out all the stops and get the best of the best.

It’s doable imo and I think this is his last season.
