I mean, outside of an absolute marquee matchup, most stadiums look like this. Simply being a conference opponent doesn’t mean much anymore. It’s just too expensive for “cheap seats” against an average or worse opponent. It’s like that at Williams Brice and every other stadium you see too.

It’s going to look really bad at BD once Bama picks up their second loss. Not trolling or hating, I’m a fan and alumnus. I was against the last major expansion for two reasons, no guarantee of success after Saban and the ease of watching at home. I wish they had moved to the pro model of fewer bleachers and more actual seats.

Who cares about seats, empty or not? Seriously. College fans are the only fans in sports who ever bring up attendance like it matters. With playoffs and better TV’s the smart fan will wait to spend their money. Just because some fanbases love to sit in the sun while spending money to watch a scrimmage in a non-conference game doesn’t mean everyone does. Something tells me all stadiums will be packed in the playoffs.
