The proposed lone transfer window would be a 10-day period that opens Jan. 2, 2026, one day after the College Football Playoff quarterfinals are completed. The Division I Administrative Committee must approve the legislative changes before it can take effect. The vote is expected to occur before Oct. 1.

I vote yes! Who is with me???

Edit: I don’t know if it’s the NCAA or Bowl Committee, but I put NCAA.

It means players can’t transfer before or during the playoffs.

One lone 10 day transfer window opening the entire year vs the fall, spring, or coaching change transfer window is how I’m reading the news coming out.

Eh. I don’t think players should be able to play an entire season for one team then transfer to another during the postseason. Big step in the direction of correcting the out of control portal situation we currently have

If it’s January though, and 30 players leave in 10 days. Then you can’t get HS guys, just transfer portal guys. And we are all rocking million dollar payrolls. Man, what a time to be alive.

Are they intentionally trying to make this difficult? What a terrible time frame

Just lead to another lawsuit. Again, I don't care. NCAA has allowed college sports to be ruined forever.

The NCAA has a huge culpability in all of this, but they aren’t the only ones in this. Thank the lawyers, the system, the entitled brathletes and their handlers

It is, but they also have to take into consideration the academic calendar (because we still have to act like these kids are coming to campus to play school).

No, it means players can only transfer during the playoffs which is stupid. They should move it to after the playoffs.

It looks like they want to slam the transfer window shut but know they can't so are only leaving it a quarter of the way open.

What if players say they should be able to transfer anytime they want, no windows at all, and sue over it? Maybe they should leave this as it is.

They are under payroll. Calling them students is just for show. I think the youngsters are too blind to see once they cross over from students to employees. From verbal agreements to signed contracts. They lose their woke never ending rights bc now they are whole in the eyes of the court. But idk, I been drinking and making shite up now.

Did Texas AD Del Conte approve this yet?

If not, it will not fly!

If that's the case, then the window is immediately after exams in December or after spring semester

Won’t hold up in court, so who gives a shite?

First player to have his career impacted by this files a lawsuit and the player will 100% win

The fed and supreme courts have made this clear to the ncaa, but they just won’t learn their lesson
