Sorry dude, it’s way too late… y’all already opened the barn door for Bevo…
Texas vs. OSU was the highest watched college football game on television last holiday weekend… we are doing well on the academic side too…
Yeah, we lost to OSU, which we have to address, but I’m sure SEC Commissioner Sankey is happy with our return on investment…

Why is it so easy to transfer into UTrans and AggyLand?
Pretending to be Ivy League’s while they’re infested with UTSA and Blinn transfers

LSU did not make the list because, technically, they are a school for Special Education students.
Bwahahahahaha!

UTrans is a campus littered with homeless people, heroin needles and UTSA grads on their way to Liberal Arts degrees
Then you go to Austin during summer school and you’d swear you were in the Middle East.
Has UTrans had any more students murdered on campus by the homeless lately?

If I would have made up the study, I would have included LSU… I’ve got an LSU alum cousin-in-law I like, married to a UT-Austin cousin of mine… they had a great wedding I attended years ago in Baton Rouge…
But otherwise, sorry, I had to be accurate when citing my 3rd party study source…

Cowboys were great in the old old days with Landry coaching, and Staubach and Too Tall Jones playing…
Current Jerry Jones owned Cowboys are a train wreck…

I don’t mean to try and provoke emotions. I’m merely stating fact. Hell they don’t like me because I’m not “southern” enough. But I don’t give a shite

What does Florida claim as particularly good programs on campus.
Texas is just good all around (especially business), and A&M claims engineering (or pretty much any STEM) and business (admittedly second to Texas).
Honest question: What is Florida known for in academics (or at least like to claim)?

I may be mistaken but I was told some version of this by several people in Texas and New Mexico several years ago. Apparently there is some state law in Texas that IF a kid graduates from a high school in Texas and has a minimal GPA in a standardized core curriculum OR home schooled and scored an established minimal score on the SAT or some other accepted standardized test that kid had a seat at a state university somewhere....it may be Texas Tech or Texas State, based on the GPA and standardized test scores, but if a kid achieves a pretty achievable minimum high school diploma in the state they have a seat in a University somewhere in the state. This is as it should be. Those kids just barely making the grade ain't getting into ATM or UT Austin but they do have a seat somewhere and an opportunity to further their education.....thats how it ought to work in every state. There may or may not be any truth in this but it ought to be. If so the rest of the nation ought to emulate this idea.

Not sure that’s entirely accurate…
Texas and A&M both have waitlisted people for decades and now offer different types of programs that allow students to attend a branch campus and transfer into the main campuses at Austin or College Station after a year IF they meet minimum GPA retirements.
Texas has a lot of universities so lots of options, but also some of those are private schools…TCU, SMU, Baylor, Rice. Those private schools are good options if you have money. But if you don’t have the grades to get into A&M or Texas, you are probably headed to Tech or a much smaller state or branch school.

Without a doubt... The University of Texas has the best "Physical Culture and Sports" program in America.
