Haven't seen the SEC this wide open since the pre-Saban days

Who's going to win it this year? I don't see any obvious number one right now.
I see a wide open race between teams like UGA, Tennessee, LSU, Texas, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina as well as the Aggies. You could make a reasonable case so far for all of these teams. It's really anyone's guess.
Saban leaving was a great thing for our conference overall.

It's week one lol.
Come back after even just one game of SEC play. Half the SEC teams haven't played a real team yet.

I strongly suspect it isn’t as wide open as you think.

Not a single SEC game has been played yet. It will likely be a 4 team race by mid-late October. Texas still has the easiest path (if you can call anyone's path easy).

2012 was wide open. 6/14 teams had at least 6 conference wins.
2023 was pretty similar too. 5/14 teams had at least 6 conference wins.

your list is pretty unreasonable to exclude Bama all bc of week one...also including teams that blew out rent a wins. Including the aggies and ole miss who have never made Atlanta is always unreasonable

Taking down the #4 team at your house is kinda a big deal.

Bama is dead. Done. It's over.
In fact, it's best we just not even talk about those losers anymore just like we don't talk about Miss State.

UGA is always the favorite and I don’t think it’s really that close . Clemson isn’t the end all bearing for LSU either they haven’t beaten a good team in a long time . Not knocking LSU but we can’t say they are going to win the sec based off one game . UGA to lose … and 10 teams could win.

It isn't...Georgia, Texas, or LSU will win it.
Guaranteed.
Guaranteed.
