I thought LSU fans were bad with a few bad seasons but Bama fans going to Burn it all down. Could not believe the anger on the finebaum show. Imagine 4 more losses. DeBoer may quit to save his life. They crazy.

Many of us survived Mike Dubose. We can survive anything.

Not all of us are like the idiots who feel the need to call Finebaum.

This implosion is way better than I hoped.

Don't tell them what Mike Shula managed to do to Nick Saban himself.

More importantly, can their wives and dogs survive a 5 loss season?

That was Dennis Francione.

Right now we may celebrate a five loss season. Did you not see us play? Does that look like a 7 win team? LOL!

Yes.
Will they actually put forth the effort? I don't know.
One game with so many unknowns going in isn't enough of a sample size.

My opinion at the time of Saban's departure was that someone in Saban's close orbit should take over, with the idea being no successor would last long, so you might as well try and just keep the train going for as long as possible with Saban's culture/pipelines/so forth.
Was that a viable option?
Regardless, I'm not convinced Bama won't be competitive, but it does seem rather predictable that kdb ends up a stepping stone to the next era.

Kid,
I survived the Shula years, the DeBose debacle, the Price pain, all of it.
I can easily “survive” a 5 loss season.

The scary thing is there were plenty of knowns. Gus has been running the same offense since he entered the college ranks. There's hours and hours and hours of tape from every stop he's made that shows he's done the same thing everywhere he's gone. Everything they did Saturday I saw at Auburn when he was there. Yet our guys and our DC looked like it was the first time they'd ever seen it. There's film on the QB as to his strength's and weaknesses and yet he beat us all day with his strength's because we never did anything defensively to take it away. Complete disaster.

Also it is pretty universally accepted that some of his callers are paid shills. They really know how to kick over the ant hill.

That was far removed from the first dynasty. Today's bandwagon and younger fans don't know anything else.
