Peyton Manning threw 5 interceptions against Mississippi State College his first year and lost the game for UT. Not a good idea to judge him on his first year as a starter. And Mississippi State wasn’t Ohio State. Arch has good legs and a good arm. Time will tell if he has it between the ears….where it counts most at the QB position.

The kid has had three years. He’s a bust. Falls apart at the first sign of adversity. He’s a Manning only in name

A few other 3rd year players first starts as the real starter

Joe Burrow vs Miami 11-24 140 yards 0 TD 0 INT 4 carries 14 yards

Matt Leinart @ Auburn 17-30 192 yards 1 TD 0 INT 2 carries -1 yards

Arch 17-30 170 yards 1 TD 1 INT 10 carries 38 yards

He is making millions and can probably get most women in Texas...he is living a good life. If people want to judge a person making millions poorly....so be it.

Yeah but I don’t remember their fans spending 3 years hyping them people up while they rode the bench. Only to come out and more/less shite the bed in their first meaningful start.

There has been a ton of hype/pub/posts about Arch for a loooong arse time. That isn’t his fault at all. And maybe he’ll get better, who knows. But he hasn’t really lived up to the expectations that many have been building up.

Ok and I get that. He wasn’t playing Georgia State like our QB. Simmons got his first start and threw two picks. Our QB graduated high school at 16 and graduated college at 19. But he still needs to get his feet wet.

Arch has been sitting the sidelines. And his coming out party was Ohio State. No! Defending national champs Ohio State at home. Last point is he didn’t have any say in his name. And he hasn’t walked around strutting or being an arrogant POS. Cut the kid some slack.

Well yeah, i might be a harsh judge but weve had a very good defense for 3 1/2 years and all im waiting on is a realy good QB and i think we’ll win a natty but damn it looks like quin all over again, maybe worse
If he does absolutely anything we win that game, i can understand if he doesnt throw 4 TDs and 400 yards but damn, anything and we win that game. After two years in program and a little playing time last year you cant do anything? What has he been doing, getting laid this whole time?
Im gonna ride with him til the wheels fall off but play like shite and im gonna call it as well

Mississippi State College

Yes I’m sure Texas College will bounce back after the loss to Ohio State College and Arch will look better as he faces more Colleges on his schedule. That College of Oklahoma may give him a test as well.

Arch Manning has been put in an impossible situation by the media hype machine. I credit his family for doing what they could to shield him from it, but he will have to surpass his uncles as a player to not be deemed a failure in a lot of peoples’ eyes, which is unfortunate for him as a person.
