Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois last season...fans were ripping them...and they made the national title game.
Granted, their schedule was much easier than ours. They had to run the table after that...our schedule would allow for another loss and still get in.
I said it was a positive comment, not a realistic one.

While all of this is true and I like the thought, seems fetched. Far.

We ain’t got the dudes ND does and Marcus Freeman is twice the leader DeBoer is. I’ve seen the post making the rounds about how the night before the game went with players door dashing at 1-2 AM and how they couldn’t get out of the hotel on time because it was so disorganized. That tells me all I need to know. We have hands off lazy coaching staff. The players do not take them seriously.

I’m also surprised you didn’t mention any of our vaunted portal pick ups.

Notre Dame is at risk of getting embarrassed by Miami right now.
Losing a game before October is so foreign to Bama fans at this point. It's been a long, long time since that has happened, much less the first game of the season, in a game where we got physically dominated. So naturally everyone is in meltdown mode, and it does seem a bit grim. But, I do believe we have good, talented players on our team. Maybe they'll turn it around, who knows. Not getting my hopes up, but wouldn't shock me if it happened.

"Let's just treat them like NFL players and trust them to act professionally" said the idiots about the group of 18-22 year olds.

From your mouth to God’s ears but I am not wagering any money on it.

I think our best hope is that FSU is a playoff team. I still think that there is a lot to be concerned about regardless. We are definitely going to find out what this team is made of early in the season. I have my doubts, but I hope I’m wrong.

Yesterday's loss comes after similar losses to Vandy, a terrible Oklahoma team, and a terrible Michigan team.
The exact same garbage happening 4 times in less than a year isn't a fluke.
We are 5-5 in our last 10 games.

I think that 5-5 in last 10 is the rub with wishcasting a magical redemption story.
It is possible but the team we see in two weeks against Wisconsin would need to look night and day different than what we just saw in Tallahassee.
Sure would be a great thing to see and I'd eat the crow for all the shite I've been talking this weekend. But I don't think corvid is replacing fowl in my diet anytime soon.

Gotta hold on to something lol.
Beating Georgia on the road will be tough. But if you want people to forget the Tallahassee Egg you laid, you're going to have the opportunity.
Lose to Georgia and we have to run the table...assuming no stumble against Wisconsin. Obviously a loss makes every subsequent game even bigger. I completely realize the team we fielded yesterday has no chance to do this...but I'm assuming DeBoer decides to earn his direct deposits...a big assumption I know. But theoretically the physical talent is there to beat anyone.

Hadn’t heard this. Insane if true. So much for a business mindset and the process

Notre Dame lost by three points to number 10. That’s not that embarrassing. Embarrassing is number eight ran out of the stadium by an unranked squad full of transfer players led by a midget QB.

Anything is possible.
Not with that DC.
With that DC, his gameplanning and our defense?
We need special play at QB. So unless KDB found his balls and will open up QB position for our next game... we're stuck in a bad situation

I could be wrong I just don’t think so. Their QB runs the spread by Gus great but he’s not a passer and someone namely Clemson and Miami will bottle his arse up and make him throw.

I am praying that we beat ULM. That is as positive as I can get right now.

I want to believe we had a wake up call but I have a bad feeling.
