...to restore the credibility of the SEC Conference by playing Ohio State, considering we were the last SEC team to defeat them.

I’ll give Mizzou credit that they took that bowl game seriously. Ohio State showed how spoiled they were by playing third stringers.

Well we haven’t played them since the early 2000’s but I’m fairly certain they’ve never beaten us

It seems like Missouri keeps playing weak schedules and/or teams playing their backups.
Then Missouri pretends they actually did something when they win.
It's like a DEI hire in some ways, sure you "did it" but just because the standards were lowered.

I keep forgetting how dominating their sports programs were in the b12. Only in conference twenty something years and won a whopping six conference titles though out athletic department
