While our supposedly otherworldly kicker was 5 yard short on a 53-yarder.

Yikes

Our coaching is so bad talent joins us and goes backward. See Ryan Williams

He didn’t seem like he was thrilled with the hold

Literally no one has called Talty that. He was one of the few things that didn't get glowing reviews out of fall camp.

Didn't seem to impact their kicker on their 45-yard attempt which would have been good for 55.

Why is it always excuses?

Why do half of y’all melt worse than a second grader experiencing a “breakup” with his five minute relationship

Complaining about weak mental with the team when you should be looking in a mirror

Dude, NO ONE was raving about Talty. He is serviceable but not exceptional. He’s probably accurate as long it’s no more than about 50 yds. No shame in that.

I’m so glad you’re back to last season’sform and never having anything positive to say. I agree yesterday’s performance of the team wasn’t good but Talty just barely missing a long FG attempt (over 50 yds) is no reason to diss the young man.

Agreed, after what we witnessed the last two decades, his kicks were glorious

Especially considering Simpson took a sack the play before that made it about 7 yards longer than it should’ve been…

Both of his kicks were right on line so I’m hoping that’s a good sign…

This. Even with a miss, our fg kicker was a bright spot, no matter how disheartening that is.
Now, you might want to be worried about the punter. He had a great average but was bailed out by a botched catch and two or three very favorable rolls. If he can keep the rolls up, that’s fine but by next game, the opposing team will have someone as a short fielder and our punting game will average 30-35 yards per attempt

To be fair (not making excuses but...) opposing kickers would perfectly nail a 60 yarder in the middle of a cat-5 hurricane against us...
