For the first time in over 20 years, I’m embarrassed

to be an Alabama football supporter! This team not only lost the game, it lost its manhood. Not only did they get out coached, out played, out schemed, out hustled, they got whooped physically like no other Alabama team has in many years! Both lines can’t play physical football. Their edge rushers are non existent and the linebackers play scared! The secondary is still undecided because they really didn’t get tested. FSU whooped us in the trenches and didn’t need to really test them but the times they did, the secondary failed too. I’m really not looking forward to our trip to Athens at all. Bama sunshine pumpers can downvote me to hell and back but this team is built on a vagina mountain and they’re very close to the top!

Anyone down voting this can't see how bad it is. We are 5-5 in last 10 and only 1 of those were ranked

Meh I didn’t downvote, I never really think about that much. But on the point of embarrassment or being embarrassed over that I guess I’m in the minority.
Win or lose I’m a Bama fan, it don’t effect my life that way. It may some and I know some ppl that it ruins their whole wk, but not me.
I enjoy watching and keeping up with it, but it doesn’t freak me out when they lose. Saban’s gone so I think we all suspected there would be a big drop off and it was.
Hell as a Bama fan I’ve witnessed two of the greatest coaches in college football, countless championships and legendary games and players and some of greatest games ever played. All the sec schools combined can’t say that.
Take a breath there’s nothing to be embarrassed about and if you are then maybe you need to think about priorities, lol

Bingo, I love this team and the university as much as anyone on here. You know why I wasn’t too upset yesterday? I run a successful business that feeds my family, I have a nephew being recruited to play D1 ball clubs, and my 6 year old son is playing his first year of ball where I am coaching his team. I decided a few years ago, I’m not going to let 18-20 year old kids that I don’t know decide my mood and take my happiness away, as it isn’t fair to my wife and kids.

Exactly, but there’s an explosion of trolls on here sense the loss. But hey I get it, it drives the traffic to the site and that’s what they want. Just ignore the shiny hooks, lol.
But yeah I feel ya man. I lost my wife of 29yrs to cancer. She made it clear to me not to mourn her, to move on with my life and be happy as I was with her and that’s what I did.
It sucks to lose but it’s not tragic as some trying to make it out to be.

That's some true perspective. I use to lose my cool with every loss. I remember shouting so loud during the LSU loss in 2011 that I thought the neighbors had called the police and they were banging on my door, turns out we were in the middle of an earthquake!..lol. Now, Im cool as a cucumber. Life ain't about football, it's about Jesus, family, & our neighbors. Football is just for fun. Grace and Shalom!

It wasn’t the fact that they lost, it was the lack of effort and pride out there on that field. They played against a qb that questioned their willingness to compete and proved his statement to be true! They absolutely got manhandled on both sides of the ball.

Yeah Bama got their arse kicked. I’ve had my arse kicked before, dusted myself off and got over it. Got rocked by one punch, had tunnel vision, ringing in the ears the whole nine, lol.

There is no shame in losing when you competed and executed and gave your all and someone was just a little better than you on a given day and beat you in a fair fight. Yesterday was the dictionary definition of shameful.

Agreed. They embarrassed themselves yesterday. I’d rather lose with 3 stars busting their arse to compete than 5 stars out there half-assing it, jogging to the ball carrier, getting pushed around on both lines, and not caring that the opposing QB called you out and questioned your manhood and you let him. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an Alabama team loaf like that.

You didn't have this feeling after the 2023 USF game? That was extremely embarrassing due to the complete lack of effort.
