Melt more. I have been following Alabama football since my first game I attended in 78. I will still follow them and support the team. Just because I may choose not to watch them every Saturday does not change it.

I could care less about our record just want to use my time wisely on the weekends. Work all week to hard not to enjoy time off.

This right here. Over the last decade I have gotten to the point I will only watch UA football if time allows it. To be honest the last game I can remember watching on TV that was not UA was the Texas vs USC game. Young vs Bush. With family and life have little time for other things. I watch no pro sports or college unless I attend the game.

Now with NIL, transfer portal, and all about me combined with colleges demanding more money for what they put on the field I have less desire to be a part of it.

I understand some make it the most important thing in their lives over everything else and I will not criticize that. So enjoy but for me there are more important things in my life like my five kids and family.

We have this thread literally every time there's a loss. We've now lost three of the last four. It's time to either learn to ignore bandwagoners or to just keep your counter melt to yourself.

I didn’t have any expectations of a natty this year but I didn’t think expecting to be one of 12 teams to make the playoffs was too much to ask. Obviously I was wrong. I’ve been watching Alabama football since the mid 70’s. I can stomach getting beat by a better team or losing a hard fought game at the end. But to just get outplayed and out-efforted and outschemed, no thanks. I’ve lived through Perkins, Curry, Franchione, and Shula. I know how frustrating it is and how sickening it can be. I don’t need that anymore from a bunch of kids who couldn’t give a damn as long as the checks keep clearing. At least back then I knew it hurt the players more than it hurt me. I doubt that is true anymore.
At least Oats gets max effort out of his team. They don’t mail it in. The football team continues to do so. And it really chaps me when so called “superstars” like Proctor give piss poor effort and get their arse kicked by lesser players and commit stupid penalties over and over and our coaches continue to trot them out there.
