Not the answer. We’re bad either way. Move on now.

He hasn't been awful, but he wasn't good either.

Whole team was bad today

Deboer isn't changing qbs, he'd hate to admit he was wrong.

He’s not the problem. The complete inability….again to stop the run is just killing us

He threw a TD pass late which ended in a dead drive.

He threw another TD pass late which ended in a FG.

He flicked the ball into the ground instead of running for a first down.

He has been late on every read, late on every throw, doesn't know when to step up in the pocket or when to run.

We basically look like we have never given him snaps at practice and he has been at Alabama for years.

If the offense is going to have to bail out this terrible defense, we need a QB that can at least give them a shot.

Would've helped a ton if we gave him some actual game reps. Shocker, game takes some time to slow down. Should've stuck to the run some more and eased him into it like we did in the first quarter

I don't think the defense will be in this situation often but we're going to need to figure that out because we will need to throw back into games given this shitty performance

Simpson looked like if Blake Barnett had stayed in against USC the whole time.

Simpson is scared like his coach.

He won’t bench the captain in week 2.

That's why captains should NEVER be named before the season begins. Wait until the end of the season and see who's deserving and who's a real leader.

Start Austin Mack. The only good players we have right now are transfers from Washington.

His coach literally threw him under the bus and saying he needs to trust his reads and let the ball go.

Half of the pressure he was getting was because he reads SLOW and doesn't throw till he sees the white of the players eyes staring at him.

I will never forget how on that secidn Bernard deep out pass where Ryan Williams runs a go route to take the defenders... Ryan was literally pointing backward at Bernard WHILE RUNNING to make sure Ty threw it to Bernard on time and didn't just foist the ball in the air to anyone.

With this defense we will be lucky to win 6 games with Ty as our QB.

We need to switch now, give Mack or Keelon reps against a bad team next week to see what we got then go with the best option against Wisconsin.

That is what Saban did with Buchner and Ty and both were so bad Milroe walked back in to start yet people made crazy stories saying Milroe blackmailed the coaching staff SMFH

I had hoped we turned a corner at QB and DL. We actually regressed some.

You still wish your boy Milroe was running the show

Maybe Ty can start throwing to himself more.

I think DeBoer should make the switch to Russell after the Georgia game. The future is about all we've got going on now.

Ty Simpson didn’t win us the game today but he damn sure didn’t lose it either. He’s got a lot to work on but he didn’t give up 31 points. He got us back in the game at one point. Lay blame where it belongs: the OL and the entire defense including staff.

Yeah we're terrible at both positions. We'll at least the starters.

My prayer is Austin Mack can come in at least. He looked better than Ty last season in junk time but we all looked past that. He was big and threw a really nice TD remember?

We just can't go forward with Ty.

Even KDB is being critical of him. We need to open up competition and plays the other two against our cupcake and if they suck, say prayers and go back to Ty like Saban when back to Milroe
