Ty Simpson isn't ready. He's missing the throws Catellanos is making.

He's staring down his first receiver every play. DeBoer ain't it. Put in the freshman and move on.

Castellanos is on easy mode with Gus. Don’t be fooled. He was cheeks everywhere else.

Looks as good or better than Arch. He’s not the issue.

No. He's part of the problem. Can't process fast enough.

10x faster than Milroe, and it’s his first meaningful start.
He’s not Tua by a mile, but I’m not pinning this on him.

Ty has potential but this defense isn't giving his comfort and his play is reflecting it. We need a serious adjustment in coaching philosophy and player effort after this game because this is embarrassing

Offense kinda sucks right now.

Ty just not processing very fast. Not making good decisions.
When he gets an easy throw though he has been making the intermediate throw.
However we have zero explosiveness now

And somehow less accurate

He's making the wrong decision every drive. We should have 35 points by now

Last year, everyone said the problem was Milroe.
Now “Ty Simpson’s not ready.”
The plain fact is line play on both side sides of the ball is terrible and has been going back to the last year or two of Saban’s tenure. Saban’s magic and Milroe’s speed saved a few games here and there, but they’re both gone now.
Vintage Tom Brady wouldn’t be doing much better out there right now.

The offensive line is bad I will agree

I mean theres a clear difference here between Ty and Milroe. We're sustaining drives but we've had multiple chances in the 40's end in missed field goal or fourth down turnover
Our defense not waking up until the third isn't helping our slow start
And we aren't getting crushed by sacks

Ty is more consistent, but the results aren't as good because milroe was more explosive.

We say that but we're outscoring Michigan and OU at this pace

I’m not saying there’s isn’t a difference, and I’m not saying Milroe was better than Simpson.
What I’m saying is that neither one of them is the root of the problem.
