Depth Chart
Hardy and Roberts listed as "or" is a little unexpected as is Norfleet and Harris. If Harris has improved his ball skills, 12 personnel in the RZ has some real potential.
Logan Reichert is out 6-8 weeks so I think Early is is the first man up at either OG spot.
Im looking forward to seeing what the defense can do.

Let’s go Sterling.
Lot to like there.

Hope Pribula is Cook with an arm ...

I just hope whoever wins the job can get the offense over the slow starts that plagued the team. Missouri was 94th in first half scoring offense last year. They were 40th in 2024 which isnt great. That really underscores the job the defense did keeping them in games. Moore does a better job after the script IMO.

I know Kirby does not have an easy job but maybe other teams have figured out a sequence of what plays he will call.
I remember when the Rams were having a bad season one year the play calling was predictable even for casual fans. You could count on this happening:
Steven Jackson gets the hand off and crashes off tackle for 2 yards.
Steven Jackson bulls his way up the middle for 2 yards.
Sam Bradford drops back to pass on 3rd and six... incomplete.
Punt.
Everyone knew this was going to happen except the Rams offensive coordinator.

Everyone laughed at Hugh Freeze and his three play callers but maybe he decided a way to mix things up was needed.

Im sure this is a big factor. Cook struggling with winning queues and ball placement on deeper routes were other contributing issues that Moore and his QB coach didn't get corrected.

As much money as football programs are awash in now maybe they have bright and clever people on staff who look for coordinator "patterns". It can't hurt to throw some change ups. Maybe he does though and I don't realize it.

THey have done this for more than a decade. Pinkel had old retired coaches that were paid to just do self-scouting and search for tendencies.

Thanks for the info. We can hope the "94th in 1st half scoring offense" is something the staff worked on this off season.
I wonder if those retired coaches have ai and supercomputers at their fingertips.

lets hope so. slow starts were extremely frustrating and maybe for some reason Drink stopped doing self-scouting. I doubt that he did but something needs to change there.

Eli said this is the best team he has had. Time to lower the lap bar, secure the shoulder harness, and enjoy the ride wherever it goes.

Top to bottom it’s definitely the deepest. Especially on defense.

With good to great QB play they could be a one or two loss team when they head to Norman. I think the RBs, WRs, and TEs have All SEC potential in them. I also believe in the job Jones does with the oline.
Unfortunately the two QBs have 64 career passing attempts between them. We get to see a glimpse in 3 days.

I've watched a bunch of youtube videos on him. The best one was the come from behind win against Wisconsin. My best analysis using another player - he kind of reminds me of Taysom Hill. That's kind of my untrained eye perspective.

I've noticed Gavin Hoffman with a green jersey the last several practices. Anyone know what's up?

He's been in that green jersey for several weeks. Im not sure what happened to him.

Sounds like Pribula in the 1st half and Horn in the 2nd, which means it's Pribula's job to lose.

That's why Drink didn't "feel the need" to share his plan with the media.
