Putting my Dr. knowledge to work. I don't want manufactured rivalries (UF-Oklahoma, or Texas-USC), and the below teams all have a good amount of history between one another. I think this is the best COA as a whole:

Alabama- Auburn, Tennessee, Miss St
Auburn- Alabama, Georgia, LSU
Arkansas- Missouri, Texas, Miss St
Florida- Georgia, Tennessee, USC
Georgia- Florida, Auburn, USC
Kentucky- USC, Missouri, Vandy
LSU- Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas A&M
Missouri- Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma
Miss St- Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas
Ole Miss- Miss St, LSU, Vandy
Oklahoma-Texas, Missouri, Texas A&M
Tennessee- Alabama, Florida, Vandy
Texas- Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Arkansas
Texas A&M-Texas, LSU, Oklahoma
USC- UK, Georgia, UF
Vandy- Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss

How does this look?

You people throw the word "rival" around far too loosely.

Texas-USC would be interesting given their history with one another...oh, you mean that USC.

People are already whining about UT being given such a beneficial conference schedule and now everyone wants to saddle them with 3 gimme wins every year. Make it make sense.

With the expanded playoff, losing 1-2 game(s) wouldn't eliminate you, but it maintains historic rivalries that still matter to CFB ole timers

Notes

All legacy rivalries locked: Iron Bowl, Cocktail Party, Red River, LSU–Bama, Egg Bowl, UT–Bama, LSU–Ole Miss, Texas–A&M.

Top programs balanced:
Alabama = 3 top rivals (heaviest slate, but fits dynasty brand).
Georgia, LSU, Texas = 2 top + 1 mid.
Oklahoma, Tennessee = 2 top + 1 mid/low.

Mid/low teams get mostly mid-level opponents with 1 “draw” (e.g., MSU gets Oklahoma).

ESPN gets ratings insurance: multiple blockbuster games every year, spread across brands.

The only Texas fans who care about Arkansas are well into their 70s.

The pig lovers care about it to an unbelievable degree, so good for them I guess.

I'd rather see these threads than women's fricking basketball.

But they have 9 national championships now. So if they don’t win another one for 50 years they are still ahead of the pack ;)

Agreed. Auburn would be getting the best 3 teams over the past 5 years. Not going to work.
