Thinking of you only in the context of three permanent games. I’m sick of the SEC acting like this is a game that must happen. Arkansas is a small program that already ran away from us with their curly tail between their legs. You have to have a certain degree of respect for your rival. Arkansas is a nobody.

You're in the SEC now, you have massive history with Oklahoma, a&m, and Arkansas. History breeds rivals. Did the Red Sox not have a rivalry with the Yankees for decades simply because the Yankees won more? Heck no

I'd be honored and delighted if Texas' 3 permanent games are with OU, A&M, and Arkansas. 3 time-honored rivals, and the Razorbacks and Fayettenam are part of Texas lore.

While OU was, and is, our chief rival. Arkansas was every bit as heated as OU and they were our #1 competitor in the SWC making the games even bigger than the shootout as far as bowl game importance goes.

OU, A&M, Ark are our only real rivals. The other Texas schools are teams we’ve just played a bunch. But it takes more than that. Arkansas has it.
