If tweet fails to load, click here. I'll go with
Auburn
Tennessee
Mississippi State
But I'd rather it be
Auburn
LSU
Tennessee
(in that order)

Who I want:
Who I think we'll get:
From purely a ratings perspective, they want Bama and LSU playing every year. They aren't going to care about history or tradition.

Will any other SEC team have a permanent slate this stacked? Maybe Arkansas if they get LSU, Texas, A&M?

Or maybe Florida. Tennessee, LSU, Georgia.

I don't see why we couldn't just keep the 2 permanent rivals and rotate everyone else. This is going to create some serious scheduling discrepancies.

Dollars going to override balance, so bama will be playing 3 top half historical squads every year and some other contenders will be playing cuck, suck, n frick.
Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn btw.

This would not be ideal. I imagine the OOC games get modified now that we're going to a 9-game conference schedule.

I’d be shocked if it isn’t Auburn, Tennessee and LSU

They already fricked up the great Alabama vs Miss St game. That should’ve always been our permanent over LSU.

Alabama-LSU is traditionally one of the more higher rated games of the season.
ESPN isn’t giving that up. Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU is a virtual lock

Should drop Overrated State from 2027. No sense beating ourselves up more with a 9 game conference schedule, then another SEC game if we make the championship.

I would not jump to conclusions. This could be the first move to get the SEC and Big Ten on par scheduling wise for the grand bargain to be unveiled. Perhaps by 2026 we are playing a 20-24 team playoff with RPI based at large selections.

TideSaint, that is not an endorsement. I think 16 is the perfect number but could be talked down to 12.

I want to go back to 4.

UT, AU, State. LSU every 2 out of 4 makes it even spicier.

They aren’t getting rid of Alabama-LSU. They’ve already gotten rid of Alabama-Miss St (the last two years). No chance they’re reversing that because everything done in college sports is for money and Alabama-LSU always delivers ratings.
