Lil Benny = Matt Saracen

Both horrible QB’s with a drinking problem and NFL talent around them

Shoutout Tim Riggins

Stafford is one of the most gifted QB’s to play the game over the last 20 years.

Stetson Bennett is merely a average QB that was the beneficiary of having the most NFL dominating OL and best TE to play in college football over the last 25 years, great WR’s and a NFL level monster defense.

No AJ McCarron on this list is...an interesting decision. Dude won back to back national titles, nearly played for a third, and finished runner up in Heisman voting his Senior season.

Stetson is a huge queer and a drunk and inadequate in many ways.

However, the kid could fricking ball and made a ton of plays on his own at Georgia that for whatever reason love to be ignored. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the two titles Kirby won came with him at QB

How can any list of SEC QBs based on career not include AJ McCarron?

Love him or hate him, dude has two national championship rings as a starter.

The list also fails to recognize that Jay Barker also has a title ring.

Problem is he wasn't a kid. He was like 30 as a freshman.

Opinions are cute. Remember this is college only. Let’s talk hardware and awards;

quote:

Stetson Bennett won several MVP awards during his college football career, primarily for his performances in the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship games. He was named the Offensive MVP in both the 2022 and 2023 CFP National Championship games, leading Georgia to back-to-back titles. Additionally, he was awarded the Burlsworth Trophy in 2022, which is given to the most outstanding player who began his career as a walk-on. He also won the Manning Award, recognizing the top quarterback in college football

Oh…and a Heisman finalist

quote:

In college, Matthew Stafford received several notable awards and recognition for his performance at the University of Georgia. He was named the Chick-fil-A Bowl MVP in 2006 and the Capital One Bowl MVP in 2009. He also earned Second-team All-SEC honors in 2008 and was named to the Pro Football Weekly All-American team in the same year. Additionally, he was recognized as the Vince Dooley MVP Award recipient in 2008 and was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2006.

Really?

Agreed..Stafford is by the better QB. It is not even close. Bennett had better Wrs, better coaching, better Olinr, much better field position. Stafford was a stud.

Well…. My opinion obviously was shared by all the NFL GM’s, Player Personnel Directors, and Coaches in the entire League.

The Detroit Lions with the 1st Overall Pick in the 2009 NFL Draft select Georgia QB Matthew Stafford.

The Los Angeles Rams with the 128th pick in the 4th Round in the 2023 NFL Draft select Georgia QB Stetson Bennett.

Yeah…. Stetson was sooooo much better than Stafford in colllege. GTFO! lol

Barker won a national title at Bama. Best the vaunted Miami Defense. Dude was 35-2 as a QB.
