So CFB fans have clamored for a 16-team playoff bracket - they will deserve it when a 3-loss team wins it all.

Major CFB is not a beauty contest anymore. Teams that have gotten better through a rough season and manage to make the tournament can now reap the rewards for their efforts.
College basketball has seen lots of teams win the natty with “ugly” records. It isn’t about the record so much anymore, it’s about the battles on the field.

For those that doubt me.. I offer this post I said in the Summer of 2023, when I said that Texas could have as many as 15 players drafted the following year.
11 players were drafted in 2024
+ Quinn in 2025 (eligible in 24)
+ Sorrell in 2025 (eligible in 24)
+ Barron in 2025 (eligible in 24)
I'll admit that 50 is probably not going to happen, but even if it's 80% of that number, 40 is ridiculous.

Brock Taylor, who holds the record for the longest FG in Vandy history, will break the record he set last year by mid-season. Still won't Mevis' 61 yard SEC record, but will come close. I'm thinking 59+.

OU will come third in the SEC with Texas finishing below that.
