8/28: UCA @ Mizzou [W]

Pretty easy home opener. Going to be hot. Real hot. That being said, 2nd and 3rd strig getting reps by the 3rd (if not earlier).

9/6: kU @ Mizzou [W]

Been sold out for a hot minute. The game everyone has circled on the calendar for bragging rights alone. This should be a relatively competitive game at the start, but Mizzou pulls away with ease by the 2nd half. Being in the SEC for over a decade will make itself plain as day by the end of this game. kU should prepare thy anus.

9/13: Cajuns @ Mizzou [W]

I don't really know much about the Cajuns, but I doubt they get up for Mizzou like they would LSU or one of the other heavier hitters that sits closer Lafayette. This game will be a smidge more difficult than the kU game. Mizzou rolls. Enters the top 25 the following week.

9/20: USCe @ Mizzou [W]

Revenge game for the Tigers. The boys in black & gold are the ones who really get up for this one, plenty of players were there for that debacle last year for the battle of the Columbia's. I think Tigers win big in this one -- 2+ TD. If we didn't enter the top 25 the week earlier, definitely entering it now.

9/27: UMass @ Mizzou [W]

Repeat of last years game, but worse. Mizzou rolls and Drink probably catches some heat for the arse whooping he throws down on them.

10/11: Bama @ Mizzou [L]

I think this might be the first L of the season boys. I am hoping we can finally get past the Crimson Tide, but I am not sure if this will be the year. I hope i am wrong. Slight drop in the rankings, because the media hates us.

10/18: Mizzou @ Auburn [W]

We win. Probably get someone fired along the arse kicking we deliver. Auburn poised to have another let down season, and I think this game could be the nail in the coffin for some folks on the plains.

10/25: Mizzou @ Vandy [W]

This one funny enough was a toss up for me. Vandy is a different beast this day and age, and we saw that last year when Bama went in all cocky. I think our boys will go in there with their eyes open and they'll have a strong game plan in place to handle Pavia. This will be one of the closer games of the season.

11/8: A&M @ Mizzou [W]

Revenge game. Our downfall last season and a big reason we missed the playoffs was this loss. I think the boys show up and hit them square in the mouth.

11/15: State @ Mizzou [W]

Not much to say here. The chips are down at State, and I don't think that changes this season. Let's just take care of business and get the win. This will be a good game at the start, but Tigers pull away by late in the 3rd.

11/22: Mizzou @ OU [L]

As much as I hate to say it, I think the Sooners will be gunning for the Tigers, much as our boys in black & gold will be ready for USCe & A&M this season. Going to be a tough game, but I don't think we get out of Norman with the dub unfortunately.

[b]11/29: Mizzou @ UofA [W]

Finish the season with a strong win over the Hogs in Fayettenam. I just don't see the Hogs getting over the everest that is Mizzou. While it would seem every media personality or jamoke with a blog is picking the Hogs, but I am from the Show-Me state and the Hogs haven't shown me shite since we've been a part of this conference. Tigers roll, dick stomping the Hogs along the way.

Ultima Praedictio: 10-2, Drink earns that extension and the boys in black & gold are more than likely in playoff discussions and possibly catch an invite to the SEC Championship.

I see anything from 8-4 to 11-1.

Swing games of Bama, A&M, Auburn and zeroU.

If the offensive line and defense are as good as hoped, and we get above average QB1 play…

I like that 10-2 prediction.

Guys.

I think our floor is 0-12.
Our ceiling is 12-0.

Write it down.

A&M is winnable, but I can't predict a win given how poorly the 2 games against them have gone in the past decade.

I see no reason to predict a loss to OU, they are still trash until they prove otherwise. Their undersized QB put up big numbers in an air raid offense with a Pac 12 offensive line playing MWC schools. Let's see how he does with a mediocre OL and receivers against SEC defenses.

we beat ou with a 3rd string midget QB last year. We should be in a much better position this year when we play them.

I hope you're right. I am excited for the season regardless, yea we got some question marks around the offense, but I think Drink is about to do what Drink does. Let's go piss off some of the inbreds baby.

At least they are questions with what appears to be good answers available.

We’ve been very fortunate at QB last 20 years. Jones, smith, chase, gabbert, Franklin, lock. Outside a year or two, qb1 was never a question, credit Pinkel. Oddly I’m probably a little more excited for this years opener and seeing the QBs for the first time.

Franklin

Id take his 2800 passing yds, 900 rushing yds, and 36 total TDs as a first year starter this year from whoever wins the job.

Franklin was a very under rated college QB. He never got the credit he deserved. Sneaky good with his legs and his arm. One of my favorite players.

Don't be surprised if we beat Bama but lose to someone like Vanderbilt or Kansas.

The chickenhawks gave up 392 yards and 26 points a game in the Big 12 ...

Mizzou covers the current 6.5 line by at least 3-7+ points (I currently have us as a 14 point favorite in that game)

We'll probably drop ...

Alabama
Oklahoma
And maybe ... A&M (though at home ... so frick the f-aggies)

10-2.

Outside chance at SEC title and playoff bid ...

Bro you know that in college football anything can happen. Their qb looked good yesterday. Eli better be ready for him.

Anyone know how Auburn is going to be? Weren't they getting better as the season went on last year?
What about SCar?

Hugh Freeze will do better than his first couple years at Auburn ... see what he eventually did at Liberty. Mizzou could drop that game if our offense isn't up to task ...

I think South Carolina takes a step back ... was at the game in Columbia, SC last year. If Batoon takes a step up and our secondary is as nasty as advertised, I plan on being in Columbia, MO this year for the Tigers victory ...

how Auburn is going to be?

I have Missouri losing this game primarily because who knows what is going to have at QB, its the first road game, and they are likely to be coming off a loss to Bama. If QB is as good or better than last year, there's a good chance they win but I cant call that until I see the QBs play a P4 defense.

I think SC takes a step back on defense and has questions on the interior oline.

I like where you're at with these. I think OU though could be a W and aTm could be the drop. 10-2 would be a great year.
