The questions in his game centered around his ability as a passer.
According to Brian Nemhauser of Hawk Blogger, Milroe has been impressing so far at training camp and has shown major improvement.

He looks like a Hall of Famer against air. Wait till he gets a taste of an NFL pass rush. He had zero pocket awareness at Alabama.

Him and Hurts are two of the few Bama kids I respected. I guess it’s because that fanbase trashed both of them, and they responded pretty well.

Well I could accept Hurts because he actually played well against most teams.
LSU was literally the only power 4 team that made Milroe look like the scariest most unstoppable QB college football has ever seen. Every one else actually found it quite easy to stop him. I watched teams not even as talented as LSU absolutely shut Milroe’s running down.

It's really amazing Kelly couldn't find a single answer for such a one dimensional player once his first read wasn't there.

There is a lot of room for improvement with Milroe.
1. His footwork is shite. Fixing that will improve his accuracy.
2. His pre snap reads are terrible. Maybe the right coach can make it click for him.
3. He waits for his target too long. Improving the other two things will help with the this one.
Physically he is incredible. I just think he is playing the wrong sport. Not sure what the right sport is, but he isnt a natural quarterback.

I've watched Jalen throwing dimes against the best defenses in the country. Georgia got beat as much with his arm, in both meetings, as with his feet. Take a long look at the 4th and 31, we lovingly call "the Grave Digger." No room for error, even though he had time. That was a bullet on target and with the precision of someone performing microsurgery. The thing with Jalen is confidence, not talent. Many players continue to work hard and find their way, while others, like Johnny Football, fade into obscurity. We shall see.

Milroe seemed to get better in the first few games of the season, making better reads, having more patience. His passing game regressed after that. I speculate that he didn’t have a good qb coach who was consistent throughout the season.

Wrong. He was very inconsistent in the playoffs against Michigan the year before. And he looked much better for 4 quarters vs the barn under Coach DeBoer than Coach Saban.

Still trying to make your points the hard way? Coach Saban benched Jalen Milroe against South Florida, and he never took a snap. His inconsistency frustrated Coach Saban all season.

Milroe looks great against air hence why he looked 'good' against LSU's shitty Defense. Milroe is a turnover machine and has zero critical thinking skills in live action. I have never seen a QB throw the ball over the line of scrimmage or run backwards into the end zone as many times as he did. Its like he short circuits when under any kind of pressure and doesn't know where he is on the field.
