Few years too late, Johnson is probably entrenched after delivery the second national championship for his new program this decade.

So you have no faith in Petrino?

It started for me 2 years ago but apparently we're broke and are grateful to make a meaningless bowl now.

Why? He likes his situation.

No… but if you fire Sam early, you give Bobby the chance to run it for the rest of the year.

Because we're into lazy uninspired decisions as an athletic department

I remember when Sam was gonna retire early and Bob was taking over as HC, wasn't that last season or the one before I can't keep up.

As dumb as it sounds Lunney stepping in to eat the last few losses of the Chode Error probably hurts his chances. Yes, it was to a good Mizzou team and the national champions but you know how folks are.

Loggains did not set the world on fire at South Cackalacky.

Would Joey McGuire come to coach his favorite team instead of riding a fairly easy schedule and boosters who will cheerfully piss away money?

Saban would be an easy gimme of course, but the hills of Fayetteville are hell on his arthritic knees.
