I put $25 on LSU +120. That's about as far as my confidence goes.

I normally pound season openers, because fans often have a better beat on their programs than Vegas does coming out of summer camp, but this one makes me uncomfortable.

No result would surprise me here.

I would not bet on Kelly in the first game. Season yes..but not the first game.

I’m a contrarian on this one.
History says loss. Sentiment says loss. Or fears a loss.
Thoughtless bluster on the part of CBK dismissive of Clemson stadium feeds the fear.

I believe the opening loss trend ends big by LSU making a statement with a dominant win over a good Clemson team kicking off a championship run.

Why not, easy money right there.

I don't trust Kelly in season opening games. He is literally 0-3 at LSU. Never bet on your team or teams you hate..keeps emotions out of it. It is better.

I willl actually. He has proven to suck at LSU week 1 without any debate(unless you seriously want to try and defend 0-3)....

I think that’s why you have to bet on Kelly. I don’t see him losing 4 in a row

Lot of new players that need to gel, especially at the positions it matters most (defensive back and offensive line).

They could have an entirely new starting secondary this year and 4 of 5 new offensive linemen.

I think the team will definitely get better as they gain experience together, but it remains to be seen where the baseline is.

I don't know if I like the idea of a new offensive line on the road against a good defensive line like Clemson.

Seeking to staunch the bleeding from their precipitous decline and claw their way back to college football relevancy, the Alabama Crimson Tide has a tough season opening test against Florida State, a team that went 1-7 in its conference, was 2-10 overall. and ranked 128 out of 134 schools. It’s expected the Tide faithful will be exceptionally happy with an 8-4 record in 2025. And although a 9-3 finish is possible, so is 7-5.

Oh, yeah…

LSU 3.5 is. a bet I wouldn’t touch. But I will say this, there’s no way LSU wins that game. Mark it here. Clemson wins
