Extremely impressive by Alabama. UGA/Florida/SC at least all have yearly instate rivalries with GT/FSU/Clemson.
Ole Miss with 3 and Auburn with 4 is pretty wild.

For an old timer, it’s crazy to see Tennessee so low. There was a time in the 80’s that they played awesome out-of-conference games

List out the teams. Not impressed until I see the names

And people will still bitch about GA not scheduling anyone...

A Power 4 team is better competition regardless. Listing out the teams accomplishes nothing.

Agreed.

Most P4 teams are going to be tougher than non P4 teams though.

And to be fair, some of the teams at the lower end just don't have opponents scheduled yet. This tweet implies all the schedules through 2034 are scheduled and some teams have 4 patsies on them. Auburn, for instance, has 2 games scheduled for 2027 and 1 for 2028-2030. I'd imagine they are waiting to see how conferences and things change. I'd be shocked if they just didn't schedule a P4 opponent in 2027, 2028, 2031, 2032, 2033, 2034. It's not like Indiana's who has scheduled out years with 0 P4 teams.

And some teams have had games get canceled

Yep - there is very little chance all these games stick, anyway. I was actually kind of surprised we got to this season (@ FSU, Wisconsin) without having some movement. If we at least all keep the big ones there will be some really fun matchups starting this year and moving forward - especially with SEC teams and Ohio State/Notre Dame.

I’d watch for OSU canceling. They already did that once with UGA

SO Texas playing OSU in their house this year is the same as Auburn playing at Baylor the same day based on your logic?

You think Bama is going to be playing 2 P4 teams OOC per season when the SEC moves to a 9 game schedule?

No, but playing a game @ Baylor is a step up from basically any non-power 4 game outside of 5-6 of the G5 teams.

Maybe, maybe not. I hope not. What we do know for a fact is that LSU usually doesn’t with an 8 game SEC schedule.

if we still play this schedule we are the dumbest organization of humans to ever live. I have to think that it will change though, thank goodness.
