How much will Bama’s offense improve without 3rd Round Milroe?

I’d like to know what an unbiased Rant feels about this.

I personally think Bama wins it all this year.

Year 2 of DeBoer with his actual OC this time around.

Even if Milroe was back we’d look better, but Milroe panicked when defenses made him make reads.

If TY can read a defense it’s going to be a fun season for us.

To be fair Ty has a better OL and WR corps than Milroe as well.

Because that's gonna happen. You can name 7 teams with a better shot at a natty then the Red Ocean Currents

He’s definitely throwing LSU in his list, but any LSU fan who thinks that is delusional. They haven’t had a national title worthy defense in years and that Joe Burrow offense is long gone.

They will be improved, but I need to see a defense worth a frick to even consider them.

One thing about Bama is our defense was pretty solid after the Vandy game. Ended up a top 10 defense in second half of season.

LSU isn’t one of them. BK has peaked

1-9 against Alabama in their last 10 matchups.

0-1 against DeBoer.

It's okay. Your days are over. The 20 year gap for championships have begun. I don't blame you for coping with name calling and saying you would beat teams who would boat race you. If it floats your boat, it floats mine

My hot take is that Bama would have won a championship in the past 2 years had they just stuck with Ty Simpson when it wasn't clear that Milroe was the guy (or at least the guy they were going to start) early in the year in 2023

To be fair, you also said that Bama would beat Oklahoma 31-13 and Vandy 48-13 so your predictions kind of suck.

Eh, it usually comes from the top 5. Vegas has Alabama as 6th or 7th in preseason odds. Here is where the national champion was in consensus preseason odds the last ten seasons.

2024: Ohio State - #2
2023: Michigan - #4
2022: Georgia - #3
2021: Georgia - #3
2020: Alabama - #2
2019: LSU - #9
2018: Clemson - #2
2017: Alabama - #1
2016: Clemson - #3
2015: Alabama - #3

Number 2 or 3 is where you want to be.

Why wouldn’t you just go look instead of being wrong?

If Grubb can resist the urge to be too one dimensional they will be tough to beat.
