Am in Oxford for the week, for a work trip nearby. Beautiful town and campus. Also the Jambalaya pasta at Boure is fantastic

John Currence is an excellent chef.

If you like oysters, go to Snack Bar.

I am in Oxford all the time for work and it's truly a great city to live whether you go to Ole Miss or not. Great food scene and one of the the top public schools in the state.

US government made a huge mistake not making I-55 veer East to Oxford. I have a hard time believing they couldn't swing I-55 more East to catch Oxford, then head NW to Memphis. there's nothing between Winona and Memphis that'd be missed by making I-55 go through Oxford instead. Nothing there in current route.

We don't want interstate related traffic or businesses. Oxford is a destination, not an impulse situation.

You know what's hilarious? State fans getting awkward trying to knock Oxford or make some half hearted argument that Starkville is not so bad.

It's not close. It's never been close. And Oxford is so much better that even State fans are retiring there.

Oxford was a tiny one horse town just outside the cotton patch back then. You could argue that they should have routed I-55 through Greenwood back then though.

fricking blasphemy. Honestly, I'm surprised the Klan allows pastalaya in Oxford.
