First of all, it says a lot when the ESPN crew spends the entire segment trying to repair his image by conflating being a douchebag with being emotional. To which Doyle said he has always been that way, but it got ramped up to a new level at TennerC, thanks to Tony V.

Nuff said.

It’s gonna be funny to see how a class organization like the St. Louis Cardinals handle a tPOS like him.

I swear to god more people have talked about Tennessee baseball because of serraneaux than they did the entire history of Tennessee baseball prior to his existence combined. It's honestly remarkable.

It's not Serraneaux - it's Tony V.

What did he do this year that was so bad? I get he was a bit pompous in 2022 or whatever year that was we lost to Notre Dame in the supers but the guys has toned it down alot.

They don’t care as long as he’s good. They signed A. J. Pierzynski as a free agent way back. No team will care as long as he’s good.

He's toned it down a bit on the field, but a team is ALWAYS a reflection of their coach. Teams don't act like douchebags unless their coach condones it. In Tony's case, he encourages it - all part of his insecurities.

Vitello better get on the horn and tell these teams to stop drafting Vols in the first round.

Terrible look for TV if he could only get as far as being blown out by a perennial postseason underachiever in a regional.

I mean they were confident sure. When lsu hit that walk off versus tennessee and bat flipped and all. Not one time did I think was classless. Again, he's had his quirks and I get that but you 99% of schools would be happy with him. Yall just happen to be the measuring stick in baseball. We have sucked absolute arse at baseball for 20 years prior to his arrival. That dude legit built the program people attend. It just feels like people shite on him just to shite on him. If he donated $100k to a orphanage people would be pointing out how much money he makes and that isn't enough

First - don't even try to compare a walk off bat flip at 1:17 am to the everyday douchebaggery of Fisher, Doyle, etc.

Second - your argument about TennerC being arse and Vitello has finally brought success. All the more reason to act like you've been there before.

I understand that you must defend your leader, but there's no denying Vitello still feels he has to prove that he belongs, and he coaches that way.

And right on cue - Fisher says when he is in the box, he's "The Show. I want to make sure everyone understands they're not looking at the pitcher, they're looking at me".

Tony must be so proud.

Dude, Your team just won a second natty in 3 years and yet you can’t quit talking about Tony V and 2 former Vols. We get it……you don’t like UT. Move on.

Just don't care for the way Vitello disrespects the game. Good news for you is he will be at TennerC as long as he stays in the SEC. Enjoy him.

I agree it was big moment. Can you agree that if a Tennessee player did literally the exact same thing in the exact same situation you would have talked shite about it?

Second - your argument about TennerC being arse and Vitello has finally brought success. All the more reason to act like you've been there before.

This makes no sense, never being there is all the more reason to act like you've been there?

Sure. Why wouldn't he. He's never been a head coach and is passionate about. If serraneaux didn't exist you would have a much less extreme view about him

Vitello was one of the best things for college baseball. He gave the game a villain and added a ton more views (views bring money) by bringing in one of the largest fan bases in the country. You can hate Vitello because he’s a good coach and that’s annoying to people, but he has been one of the best things for a sport that 90% of Americans don’t care about. Y’all hate someone that helps expand your own brand too lol

LSU fans act like they send out 9 angels on the baseball field is absolutely hilarious.

I don't need Serraneaux to see the antics of Vitello

This is my absolute favorite defense of Vitello. We have a douchebag of a coach (a villain) and that makes baseball better.

Chances OP thinks Angel Reese is just "backing up her talk" and not "disrespecting the game"?

Not a fan of Angel Reese, regardless of her LSU time.
