We wanted to share a really special update from this past week, Brian received the Wilma Rudolph Student-Athlete Achievement Award, a national honor that recognizes student-athletes who have overcome incredible odds to continue pursuing their goals. Watching Brian walk across that stage, after everything he’s been through, was a moment we will never forget. His strength, resilience, and determination continue to inspire us all.

Moments like these remind us why we keep pushing forward, even on the hardest days.

Brian is getting great use out of his rehabilitation glove at home. This rehab glove is helping him rebuild strength and coordination in his hand, and it's become an important part of his daily recovery. The progress may be slow at times, but these tools and moments of joy remind us that healing is happening. Your support, whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing our story, has helped make these victories possible.

We still have a long journey ahead, including ongoing therapy, rehabilitation, and living expenses that continue to stretch beyond our current goal. If you’re able to share with your network, we’d be so grateful.

He is a living testimony to the power of prayer. I am so glad he is doing so well!

He will never play again. The miracle is he is alive and recovering still.

Goal for Brian is to have a somewhat normal life. I hope that happens for him but probably still long odds

Let's not act like they were just bystanders. Both of the approached another person at 4am. Both were strapped and had them out. The other guy was also strapped and got both of them


It's not like they were playing hop scotch in the parking lot, and the guy came up on them. They initiated the confrontation


Remember that no matter what city you are in, if you are on Martin Luther King drive, you are in a bad spot
