How many SEC HCs are fired this season?

I think there are three schools that will pull the trigger, while others are on the brink.
1. Arkansas
- Sam Pitman has no other excuses. Another underwhelming season and he’s gone (likely for Motorcycle Man)
2. Kentucky
- Although Stoops has had a great career, and I would have loved to see him at a major program (FSU/Texas A&M), the program is in shambles. Boosters and fans dislike him (due to TAMU fiasco)…they likely chase Sumral.
3. Mississippi State?
- This is an overhaul…but another 2-10 season won’t cut it.
4. Hugh Freeze
- Recruiting is a disaster after solid first two years. 11-14 record with no bowl wins. Call in the hookers?
5. Brent Venables
- This guy is 22-17 at Oklahoma…yikes. For context, Lincoln Riley was 55-10 (in 5 seasons). Although he’s recruited well, the on the field product has left a lot to be desired. If he loses the Michigan game and loses in October (games are: Texas O11, @ South Carolina O18, Ole Miss O25) he’s gone!
Others hot seats include: Billy Napier (Florida)
Going to get warm if they don’t perform: Brian Kelly (LSU), Kaitlyn DeBoer (Alabama)

Sam Pittman is a nice guy. Can’t see him getting fired.

They've already hired his replacement

My hot seat ranking looks something like:
1. Freeze
2. Pittman
3. Napier
Hugh's gone if he doesn't get to 7-5, maybe 8-4. I have him above Pittman because I'm honestly not sure how much Arkansas cares right now. 6-6 may be enough for Pittman to stick around. Napier I'm a little unsure about. Felt like they wanted to do it last year but didn't and I suspect they'll only be better this year.
Everyone else is probably safe barring catastrophe.

He beat you with a team that totally lacked any depth in 2022.You clowns better hope he doesn’t get it together.

Sam Pitman has no other excuses.
Sam has his shortcomings to be sure. I think he's one of the worst gameday coaches in the conference, but he's not even close to being the only problem.
If he wins 5-6 games this year with the schedule we have, I doubt he gets fired. His seat isn't as hot as people outside of Fayetteville think.

Better first year than deboer. Then again, I'm sure deboer was brought in to just keep the 10 win seasons going.

I'd add Heupel as an honorable mention.

Why would Heipel be fired after taking Tennessee to the CFP?

I’d add Beamer if they revert back to 5-7 or worse this year.

Who is their coach again?

What?! DeBoer been a HC for only one full year at Alabama. BK on the other hand been given 3 years already. He is the one should be on the hot seat next year if LSU doesn't make the playoffs this coming season. Will he be fired at the end of the season? It is up to LSU AD to decide that.

Add BK to your list. He is cooked!

Sadly, Brian Kelly won’t be one of them.
