I thought of those guys and girls when this happened.
I was certain they would be there.
Hat’s off people.
Prayers up heavy for the families.

I hope they can help and miracles can take place. This is an insane tragedy.

Due to the amount of rainfall and the mountains/ hills in the area, the flood waters rose 20 feet in something like 90 minutes… in the dark of night.

Apparently one girl who was rescued had been found 12 miles downstream clinging to a tree.

So many families are just praying for a miracle at this point.

Pray for the Families as the toll is now 28 adults and 15 children with 20 more young girls missing.
REMEMBER THEM ALL IN YOUR PRAYERS TONIGHT

People always said having kids will change you and with oldest turning 5 I can tell you that is 100% true is many ways. One of the girls that didn’t survive is from our community and I’ve been seeing things all day about this and I broke down in tears when I prayed earlier for the victims and families. I cannot imagine the pain these parents and families are going through and it breaks my heart to think that some said their goodbyes not even knowing it was the final time to see them.

My girl went to her first camp at the same age (9) as most of these girls who are missing. She’s now 13 and leaves tomorrow for camp (in a different part of the state). I truly can’t imagine what these parents are going through. I don’t know how I’d be able to breathe again if this happened to my daughter.

God bless the girls, the families, the citizens affected, the Cajun Navy, and all who are responding.

They absolutely change everything. I firmly believe you never know what it means to actually love something more than yourself until you have kids. I couldn’t imagine waking up tomorrow and knowing I’d never get to see them again. I wish there was something anyone could do to console those parents, but I like every other parent reading this knows, there is no fricking way to stop that kind of hurt. Please god have mercy on them and guide them through this misery.

What drove your bravado in a thread like this? I don't care if you're Superman; all I know is that you're a very insecure person.
