Georgia at #4 is ridiculous. I've been to most SEC stadiums and that environment is on the mid to low end.

South Carolina and Auburn both seem too low.

FSU at #14 is way too high.

Clemson lost to Louisville and SC at home last year. They are too high.

if you can see to tops of trees from field level, you cut the trees down, otherwise you look like an ACC.

It's definitely been difficult for Alabama but let's not act like it's an impossible place to win at if you are the visiting team. They have lost 15 games at Jordan-Hare since the start of the 2020 season.

I mean I get that, but Florida State lost 5 at home just last year. There's no basis that they should be ahead of SC or Auburn.

So playing at Davis Wade is essentially equivalent to playing at Notre Dame?

Both of which are less tough than Utah's stadium that doesn't even have a full lower bowl?

Who did this list, someone at Weber State?

By the way, I personally don't think Bryant-Denny is an extremely "tough" environment (which is our fault), but since 2008, Alabama has only lost 6 games there.

I've yet to visit DKR, but I've been to Jordan Hare and it's definitely underrated per this list.

Tend to agree with ya, even considering that Auburn has sucked for a while, but the team you're playing in that stadium matters.

I think this is a combination of environment + the talent of the home team. I love Alabama's stadium - and it is obvious they've been more talented than Auburn or South Carolina over the last 5 years - but the Bryant Denny environment itself isn't as intimidating as WBS or JHS.

I have noticed that the stadium has become more "hyped" in recent years due to the Boomers starting to age out. When I was in college there from 2008-11, there were many games where you could hear a pin drop due to how quiet it was.

That's a good assessment. Alabama's stadium is extremely nice. Top 2 SEC venue. I enjoyed my visit there.

I think the altitude has a lot to do with that. I can only think of 1 other P4 team at a higher altitude, and they were horrible until Sanders took over in Boulder.

That's not a good list.

I'm not sure how they came up with it, but as much as I love Alabama, the only thing that would make it tougher than Auburn is the fact it's an Alabama football team.

The slope of the stands is not steep and they are pushed back pretty far from the field. Plus, there is 0 voodoo.

We lose home games all the time.

You may not understand how this whole life cycle thingy works but the "Boomers" will simply be replaced by another group of "boomers".

Tiger Stadium AKA Cemetery Valley at number 1?

Get a 3 point lead on LSU and you can hear a mouse pissing on cotton.

Get a 10 point lead and the stadium empties so fast, you would think someone called in a bomb threat.

We have lost one home game this decade and only 12 games in the last 20 seasons in Bryant-Denny.

Those stadium names. Were all the Big12 schools selling naming rights to rich families?

I don't know anything about they Gaylords, but T. Boone Pickens is still giving money to Oklahoma State even after his death. The whole university could be renamed TBPU with the money he has given them.
